Updated CGI, especially on AOTC would be great, but the thing with Lucas' films is they are already the directors cut, it's just that he tends to do another version of the directors cut every 10 years.

Yes, CGI needs to be updated. Naboo animal riding and battle on naboo are two essentials.

There's also just a lot of issues with warped perspective which they didn't have a handle on in AOTC but were almost completely resolved in ROTS. It's amazing just how much better ROTS looks despite using the same filming techniques.

ROTS's CGI still holds up well nowadays.

Still is my favorite opening to any Star Wars film, followed closely by ANH.

I think Lucas and Disney should remaster the prequels in "directors cut editions", imagine them with updated cgi and with a few of the deleted scenes integrated to the movies.
I think they should just re-do them altogether but this time hire 1 writer and just stick to that plan for all 3 movies and hire just 1 director to direct all 3, preferrably someone who is a fan of star wars, sorry rian johnson.

There are some things I really like about the prequels, but I cant ignore all that I hate about them. I think I could write a book about everything I hate about them but I'll spare everyone here :)

Dude that would never happen!!
The prequels just need a remaster(updated CGI, insert a few deleted scenes and re-edit the trilogy to be in synch with Clone Wars to be perfect) and this is easy for disney to do.

And Rian Johnson is fan of Star Wars just like George Lucas, Filoni and Favreau. The thing is that when people dont like their work they take it personal, but people does not learn to respect directors visions so we(fans) end up with **** like Rise of Skywalker.

Agreed! (especially about Johnson)

Does anyone else think Jango felt nerfed when he fought Windu? He was moving all over the place and using all his gadgetry when he fought Obi-Wan but just walked slowly backwards as Windu was swiftly approaching. Considering his fight on Kamino and his background, he should’ve put up a better fight and possibly won.

I’ve always thought that since I was in that theater in 2002. But once you realize George doesn’t care about anyone not named Skywalker or Kenobi in that movie, you learn to accept it is what it is:lol

His jet pack was damaged, so not a lot of mobility, and he may have used up his gadgets on Kamino and not replenished, like his second pistol for example

He did try to fly away but the reek damaged his jetpack.

I also just thought, besides giving Mace a major kill, that he used a majority of his stuff against Kenobi on Kamino and just wasn't expecting a huge Jedi strike team on Geonosis a few hours later, so equipment wise, he was a bit underprepared.

Jango’s feats overall in that movie were pretty good; took on a high level Jedi in Obi Wan and held his own, and killed another Jedi. And than he fights Mace Windu, who at his peak and one of the greatest Jedi ever. I mean Jango was trampled and I don’t think realized his Jet Pack malfunctioned so he could have gotten away before getting his head chopped off. You can see he tried to use the jet pack. I think the fight made sense.
And yes, I am also very excited about this figure releasing haha.

Haha yeah that’s unfortunately true…I’ll make do with the “What if” scenario brewing in my head.

haha he still has legs. In fact he was rolling around just before. A simple duck would’ve sufficed. even if his jet pack fired, he would’ve been cut in half judging by the speed Windu was coming at him so it doesn’t make sense he would resort to that anyway. For a bounty hunter of his caliber, the reason he was chosen as the template in the first place, I find it quite odd that he would go anywhere while wearing his armor and not have replenished. I assume his second pistol was only 1 of 2.

Originally he was going to block a couple of Mace's strikes before getting decapitated, George even filmed it, but went with the slightly shorter version of the fight.

At that time, Windu is probably only second to Yoda in terms of powerful Jedi. Jango was absolutely no match for Mace Windu.

Yeah I saw that! That would've been slightly more interesting. He was still just standing there almost waiting to die tho :lol

Sure! but also the most arrogant to. If Jango was written consistently, I believe he would've taken him, taking advantage of Windu's assumptions. It would've been a difficult fight and he would be left scared in some way I'm sure.

Windu remains one of those "How the hell has Hot Toys not done this yet?," right next to C3-PO, Padme, General Grievous, Imperial Tie Pilot, Yaddle..etc
