Hot Toys Bespin Han speculation thread

Long ago before the dark times
I hoped hot toys would include the torture table from esb that Vader used on han, when this was released.

now I’m contemplating a custom bespin han because there is no hope for this figure.

Those aren’t tears, I’m just cutting an onion.

I'm regretting passing on Hoth Leia but I know that when/if Hot Toys does release a Bespin Han, I'll be cutting a batch of onions as well because of my missing out on Hoth Leia...

Yeah, great figures there, despite the apparently insoluble Hamill likeness issues. I'm also a big fan of Hoth Leia.

If ever there was a time to release a Bespin Escape Leia,it should have been last yr for the 40th..and yes,a travesty that I still display my Hoth Leia with the mask on

$700 for DX07 is crazy. I remember getting mine a couple years ago for $400ish.

I got mine from someone on here a long time ago when I was relatively new to collecting.

Probably like 2012-2013ish. It was before Hot Toys was making Star Wars figures full time. I want to say I paid like $300, maybe slightly less for my DX07. An absolute steal of a deal really.

I was waiting for a Bespin Escape version... I figured we would have another Chewie figure released by now, along with the disassembled 3PO to display them fighting their way out of Bespin. At least Lando will be available soon.

I have a notebook at work where I pass time in meetings by making collecting diagrams for my display and I keep a list of my current preorders. I found a list of ot figures I hoped would get released from 2 years ago and the only ones to get preorders of were lando, Luke snowspeeder, and the scout. Everything else is not even on the horizon. The list had over 20 figures.

Just out of curiosity, has the mask rubbed any of the paint work off her headsculpt?

Yea, you'd think a Bespin Escape version would've been easy for HT to put together. I can't imagine HT would not make more from ESB considering it's Howards favorite movie in the OT. Hopefully they really are just bogged down by the Disney+ stuff that they haven't gotten a chance to get back to straight OT?

Yes 2 glaring omissions for the original trilogy. C-3PO needs to be with his buddy and Empire Han had the best outfit to me.

They had the best banter in the whole trilogy honestly during ESB. And that’s quite impressive after the comedic relationship between R2 and 3PO in ANH.

Completely agree. Loved the banter with the droids. Good comic relief without getting to childish.

Took about 3 1/2 years, but just completed my ESB Han custom.

That Gee Whiz set looks pretty nice, and the young Solo figure is still readily available for some of the key ingredients (body, boots, belts).
