The oval display stand is a puzzling move with this figure too. I can’t remember the last Hot Toys figure I bought that came with that type of stand. Even the Marty and Doc figures from the second film already got the newer style.

Its almost like Hot Toys sat on this figure for a long time, and didn’t mass produce it or something.

I would actually like to see them go back to the old stands.
Less clunky looking than anything they have come up with in recent years.

Hopefully both of these hit preorder so I can pair them with my Part II Marty and Doc.
Sold the Part I Marty a while back for over $500 USD, glad I did now, lol.

Not sure about the shape of the stand, but Michael J. Fox actually referred to his Hot Toys figure in an interview on Kimmel I think. And there he said that he vetoed the convention at the time of the crotch holder stand, instead going for the one that grips his waist.

Not a fan of the sculpt, but damn it, HT has me bent over a barrel. Will definitely be getting this Doc.

I think the new Doc is a must get for me, especially seeing all the cool stuff he comes with! As for the Marty 2.0 its really 50/50. If it was a vastly improved Marty sculpt from the first Marty fig then I might be tempted, at the moment the new Marty sculpt dosent look anything special imo. Oh yeah and HT including Einstein with Marty not Doc is super sneaky.

Einstein with Marty instead of Doc is an obvious sleazebag move. Good thing I want a second Marty figure anyway. I hope Einstein fits nicely in the car, he will look much better if partially hidden in the shadows.

Einstein makes me laugh, but its a great extra. What got lost in the trade? Guitars?

The Mandalorian Armorer was supposed to be a Toy Fair exclusive, but i had no problem ordering it from my usual supplier. 85 Doc is very low hanging fruit.

Never had a problem getting an exclusive... hell, you can still find those "Exclusive" BB Scarecrows on ebay.

I sold both versions of Marty, Doc and the Delorean over a year ago for way over retail and got a couple of Prime 1 statues.

Still regret no longer having them, especially the Delorean. Would be very happy if I can now get Part 1 Doc and Marty along with the Delorean for retail.

Just to be able to recreate that mall scene from the first movie. It never made sense releasing a part 2 Doc without making the hover version of the car to go with those figures.

I have no use for the dog or the case of plutonium. Extra stuff to increase the price and make the box bigger. I'm not getting the car, so the plutonium is not needed.

I agree about Einstein. Especially in the way he looks. I like the way Talibane put it -- a dog wearing a dog mask.

They'd be idiots to not offer this through sideshow at a minimum! This has such global love I seriously hope that isn't true to it being exclusive to them.
