I spoke to an artist last year about his commission prices - was about £200 a day and would take a few days to complete. Looking near to/ upwards of £1000. He said that most people form a group (advised me to look on Facebook) and split costs.

I did a lot of soul searching, but I finally ended up pre-ordering the Prime 1 1/3 Deluxe. I finally sold the Cinemaquette for a little bit more than the price of this just before the pandemic shut downs started last year. I'm not really collecting statues very much anymore, but this looks to be the ultimate Predator collectible, so I'm going to make room for it in the budget.

Welcome back and wise decision :)

Warms my heart to see longtime Freaks returning for this guy. Hope we all get a truly stunning piece in the end.

Let's just hope the need never comes to that. I don't think they will skimp on materials here.

Sidenote: Is there any good Predator prints floating around these days? I'd like to get something framed up on the wall if possible to really set off my Pred corner.
I'm not big on prints, but I did grab this a while back. It's incredible I'm person, the color explodes, great quality, last I checked they weren't a lot on the after market.

It's a couple years ahead, but I'm working out what pedestal style to get for this and the City Hunter when the time comes.

Thinking 24 to 30 inches tall and about an inch of leeway on every edge/corner.

A square pedestal would be the most compact, but only allows for 90-degree views. A cylinder sticks out from the wall a bit more, but would allow me to rotate & display the piece at different angles. This might come in handy if my display situation changes and I need to put each statue in a corner facing out.

What are you guys thinking for your future Predator displays? Do you have a shape preference? Is this going in the corner, single wall, or will it be a centerpiece?

I'll be placing mine with a round base, but in the corner due to space restrictions. Still going to get a rotator but prob will only be able to view 120 degree max before it swings into the wall. If I had the space, no doubt this will be right in the centre of my home (like a stone fountain lol)

I'll be redesigning my office and setting this beast near my work station somehow! Haha
