Many hate when companies do that.

And it’s mostly smaller companies and custom groups who do that, and their edition sizes are small anyway.

Who are those "many" ?
I don't understand... there will still still be an edition size of each scale. If the licence is available, and there is demand, making a statue in two scales is a no-brainer.

If you care about edition sizes then it makes the piece less exclusive if it's the same but bigger / smaller

Also companies don't see it as a no brainer, because if they did, all statues would be released in different sizes

Usually you’ll find that this is only popular where collectors don’t care about edition sizes.

As mentioned this is ‘usually’ only done by custom/anime groups etc. Or at least that’s all I see anyway.

And it may only be done by the bigger companies when their original usually bigger scaled piece has sold out of it’s line before they produce a smaller one. But even that’s extremely rare.

Though when Sideshow recently did this I thought the turnaround speed was surprising.

HT has the license for figures, not 1/6 statues, so QS should be in the clear. I wonder if the 1/6 will have rooted hair as well. To be honest I’d probably be more interested in a 1/6 if it came out looking this nice and had rooted hair. Not only would it cost less, but would take up a much smaller footprint. That said, I’ll wait to see pricing. This is such an amazing museum-quality showpiece.

Strangely enough my local store has all 6-7 new items up for preorder, with prices. But unfortunately it’s in Aussie dollars. I’m wondering if they’re just placeholders, or do they know something we don’t.

And if the price is correct, it would seem to indicate that the price for this is around $2,500 to $2,900 USD.

since she is in the riding position, it would have been nice if they gave an optional portrait and arms.Her looking straight ahead with her arms and hands on handles.Total ride mode.
although her nonchalant look does kinda work with that slightly erotic body pose.And it is a damn' nice pose.
