I think Khev posts over at Bluray.com also ;)

"When Vader chucks the Emperor down the Death Star shaft, I can TOTALLY imagine that the swirling maelstrom of blue fire is a gateway to Exegol, which the Emperor is creating with his Sith powers as he falls. It's not even a stretch for me, quite frankly. To my eyes, it never looked like "an explosion"; there was always something supernatural goin' on there."

Interesting quote from Lucas in Total Film magazine 2008:

I've left pretty explicit instructions for there not to be any more features. There will definitely be no Episodes VII-IX. That's because there isn't any story. I mean, I never thought of anything. And now there have been novels about the events after Episode VI, which isn't at all what I would have done with it. The Star Wars story is really the tragedy of Darth Vader. That is the story. Once Vader dies, he doesn't come back to life, the Emperor doesn't get cloned and Luke doesn't get married...

LOL...he's correct. Logically there was nowhere to go unless you really wanted to make more money and had no artistic integrity.

We live in a culture of endless more more more and can't leave well enough alone. And those darn kids won't stay off my lawn. :lecture

I guess in 2008 Lucas forgot that he gave us the opera scene which was all about keeping the emperor going forever plus seducing Anakin with that accomplishment

The scene that is considered the pinnacle of excellence in the entire PT and he forgot about it :slap

Right don't have the guy who actually describes cheating death come back to life instead resurrect the silent doofus who got cut in half, lol.

The Skywalker Saga > The Tragedy of Darth Vader plus the Rise of Half-Maul. The latter is such a goofy name for a Saga, lol.

If Lucas was directing the ObiWan series ObiWan now cuts off Maul’s head but Maul then returns with a mechanical head who then fights a returning Mace with a mechanical arm lol

SWT guy cries then makes a 3 minute video pondering the brilliance of Anakin and Mace both having their right arms cut off at the forearm

:lol :lol

And if Rio had trained Han instead of Beckett and showed him the Restricted Section of the Smuggler's Guild then Han would never have dumped his cargo at the first sign of an Imperial Cruiser, lol.

:lol :lol

Han would’ve become the Amazon of shipping in the galaxy and created Endor Prime free 2 day shipping

Book of Boba Fett # 1 digital bestseller!

See, I always thought Anakin was an idiot and Palpatine was lying to him about that cheating death business.

In 2008 he says that there won't be Episodes VII-IX because there isn't any story. Then 3 or 4 years later he was recruiting Hamill, Fisher, and Ford to be in Episodes VII-IX that he was writing an outline for. Gotta love that kind of integrity and consistency. :lol

I don't blame him at all for inventing a sequel story (after insisting there was no story left to tell) just to increase the value of LFL. But then don't complain later about how you didn't get to finish telling your story because VII-IX went in a different direction. Not when 2008 George was telling the world that no such story existed nor needed to be told.

I love the guy, but he tends to be all over the place.
