Continuing the trend of sharing shots of the NECA turtles, here are mine. :lol
I tried to go for more theatrical comic poses for this, especially for Shredder and the foot soldiers.

Between the background and the poses, this looks like a live action shot from the movie. Love the naturalistic poses here, and great poses with the Shredder and Foot soldiers too!

Great figs and poses everyone! Here's a few more of my own favourites...

Great poses all around, matrix. That Vader is majestic. I received him just before I moved and I still haven't set him up again, really looking forward to futzing with him up properly once I have my display built again.

Love that foot soldier that's half on the stone!

Thanks, guys.
The fun with the turtles is that everybody has a unique personality and you can pose them accordingly, making for a varied display. Of course, NECA did make it easy by giving each of them a sculpt that reflects their personality quite well.

I never posted these shots here either, I took these back in November. Again, I was going for each pose reflecting their personality.

Forgive my ignorance but what version of the turtles are these? I need to have em. But there's a lot of versions

They are NECA 1990 TMNT movie 7 inch turtles. Recently they've released these again as two packs at Walmart.

Sorry for the late reply. As ICF said, these are the NECA 1990 movie turtles. The ones in my pictures are the single-carded releases. The latest two-pack releases include a third bandana sculpt for each turtle (previous versions included two), so that's the most complete release up until now. NECA did tease new sculpts with alternate expressions last week, but it's not revealed yet whether those will come in a new release, accessory pack, or something else entirely. I'd get the two-packs if I were you, these easily fit in even with any high-end collection IMO.

After a longer break, I finally picked up the Thrawn trilogy again, currently reading the third and final book. Of course, it got me back in an OT mood, so I had some fun posing Jedi Luke and a Stormtrooper.

For Luke, I went for a pose of alertness/cautious readiness. Right hand on hilt and ready for some force manipulation, depending on how the situation unfolds.

For the Stormtrooper, I tried to go for a casual patrolling pose. I pretty much never use stands, so this is one of my first attempts at a walking pose. I think it came out well, but if anybody has feedback on the pose, e.g. how he could be shifting his weight differently, I'm open for feedback.

It doesn't bother me but probably worth mentioning that Luke never had the belt on over the tunic in the flick.

Actually Luke does on Endor when he tells Leia that Vader is their father. Hard to see but he is wearing the belt over the tunic with the lightsaber hanging off of it. Can't really find a good picture of it but when he walks away you can see it in the movie. luke-skywalker-outfit-episode-6_htjyb9.jpg
