Looks good upon first glance but as you analyze these further you keep finding issues.

Firstly it seems they haven't changed the weapons from their first release, which were incorrect to begin with, actually it seems like most of the weapons and accessories are recycled from their first release which is a shame considering the level of detail and customization the weapons have in Part 2, the guitar, Joels coffee mug, the notebook and Ellies holster are all really nice additions.

The tailoring isn't all that accurate on both, specifically Joels jacket and Ellies hoodie, it comes as no surprise given the game came out 2 weeks ago, and these prototypes must've been produced and photographed in those 2 weeks, hoepfully they can improve these during mass production.

The sculpts are alright, Ellies normal sculpt is probably the strongest, her angry sculpt looks a bit off, Joels sculpt is just a recycled sculpt from thir first release which seems to have been made thinner and have different hair and added wrinkles, I don't think it captures the structure of his face in Part 2 tho. The clicker head sculpt looks really good but the figure is extremely lazy and quite frankly not worth it, it's just a KO body with more bloddy and torn clothes of Ellie on it, they should've just released it as a seperate sculpt.

Overall it is a solid announcement but I can't help but feel they needed more time to come up with better prototypes, I think they wanted to get these out while the game is still hot as there has been a lot of controversy sorrounding it and furthermore they probably want to one up Master Team before they announce anything else, as we know they ar reworking their Part 2 Ellie as well, will definitely be interesting to see what both brands can do.

EDIT: What are your thoughts Asta?

Yes, at first glance they look good. But the more you look the more it appears that this is a rush job.

Their original figures looked pretty much like the prototype photos, but I hope they continue to work on these before settling on production.

Totally, but given they didn't take fan feeback into account all that much with their first releases I don't see them altering these much in mass production, I mean for collectors who don't pay attention to these sort of details I'm sure this is perfect, but they could've at least given them the correct model of Joels iconic revolver and either have done a proper clikcer figure or just released a head sculpt/clothing set because it looks really weak to me.

The Clicker is very weak. While the sculpt is good, the shirt is a waste as it leaves his unaffected arms exposed and spoils the impression. It could just as well be somebody wearing a Halloween mask.

I like Ellie's less angry expression, but the other looks a bit strange, as toothy sculpts can depending on the angle and lighting.

I don't think Joel's sculpt is too bad, but it may be too old. Though the wrinkles might not be so prominent on the production figure.

The jacket makes him look clunky. The material is too thick, and doesn't drape/hang.

Will likely go for the Ellie figure, but depends on what Master Team offers. Probably won't be long before they rush out their revisions too.
As for the Clicker, just not enough there to warrant buying it. Would have been better off offering the headsculpt only for custom jobs.
Joel just looks plain weird. The headsculpt just isn't there for me so I have to pass with how it looks at present; I'd also probably only buy it if Tommy was offered too.
So, a little disappointed with these right now.

I've pre-ordered MT's Ellie, so one CC would suffice. Whichever ends up with the least impressive shirt or tattoo would get the hoody.

Since these are likely to be on the Pop Toys Xing (or Xing style) body it'll be a lot easier to bash more Ellies with the extra sculpts than it was working with the younger versions, especially if just going for concept art as from the Dark Horse book:

It would be hard not to order Joel or the Clicker, even if they require a bit of work. A long sleeved shirt is going to instantly improve the latter.

I?ll get Ellie and maybe the clicker... unfortunately we were right in assuming they would release another Joel and not Abby. I know it?s not easy to do Abbys body, but I still had hope... now I?m sure it?s not gonna happen.
Edit: oh hell... I?ll probably get Joel too. But I?d hate to not have Abby in there with them. The clicker is lazy AF

I feel like the biggest issue with the sculpt is how narrow it is, it's all the more weird considering this is the exact same sculpt they used on their first Joel, making it a bit more wide massively improves it as you can see in the comparasions bellow:

They should've also made the hair at the back slightly longer.
Agree with the clothes, as I said before it seems they made these in a rush so it's not a surprise they ended up how they did.

It's hard to say when Master Team will give an update on their versions, we'll just have to wait and see.
In regards to Joel you can check the comparasions above and see why you and I think it looks weird, the face is just too narrow.
The clicker, sculpt aside, is honestly awful, if they charge the price of a full figure for it I don't see many buying it just to get the sculpt, they should have either made a proper one or just release the sculpt seperatley, they would likely sell more that way.

The thing about the clicker that is really bad to me is how they just slapped a slightly altered version of Ellies clothes and Joels pants and boots on a cheap body and called it a day, if they charge the price of a full figure for it'll be hilarious.

Unless you find someone willing to deisgn and produce a realistic muscular female body with the right height and porportions then it is very unlikley, if it is to happen it'll likely be as a head/clothing set to be paired with a phicen male musuclar body.

I don't understand the narrowness either if they just worked on the original. Unless it's the camera focal length, though all the images are similar.

That has to be a cheaper price point.

It's most definitely not a problem with focal length, given the sculpt has the same narrowness in all the pictures like you said. Likely a problem in the casting process.

If it isn't then they messed up.

You are right.
There is any chance of LIMTOYS making these fellas?

I have nothing concrete to say in regards to that, we will likely continue the 1/12 line and there is a pretty cool idea we've thought about and seen thrown around in regards to 1/6 figures but it's not only my decision to make, besides a lot of people already have brand loyalty to CCToys because of their first Joel and Ellie releases, so even if we made our own versions in 1/6 a lot of collectors wouldn't bother because they are already satisifed with their CC versions.

I know. Just like the clicker body I guess it?s too much to ask... but still a shame. Hope we?ll see a custom body at some point.

Exactly, tho I would say a Clicker would be much easier to make than Abby, CCToys just went the cheap route with theirs.

So sorry to hear that. I would really enjoy to have Ellie TLOU2 1\6 figure from Limtoys, because I’m in love with your sculpt quality and how you pay attention to every small detail.

Thank you so much for the kind words and support, I would love that too but as I said, whatever we make is a collective decision by the team, and CCToys and Master Team, which we have worked with and helped in the past are already doing them so we don't want to step on anyones toes, there is a way we could make 1/6 figures and I think it would be fantastic but I'm not sure how the majority would feel about it.

All I'm hoping for is that we will see a Joel figure from The Last of Us 2. The longer hair and jacket look.

CCToys announced their version yesterday, Master Team should be working on theirs.

Hello sir, do the 1:12 figures from the first game already have a release date? And will they make 1:12 figures from the second game? I hope you are looking forward to Limtoys work is magnificent. Thank you so much Mr.
