Wow, kinda surprised with all the disappointment... I just picked one up and thought it's their best figure yet. Now the things that do suck is the loose the body and trying to pose him. His weathering is pretty good, helmet looks great, I own HT 12" ROTJ, ESB and 1/4. This figure will fit in nicely to my collection, I love all the extra accessories. If anything I'll buy and extra HT body to swap, Personally I really like him and think he looks great. He defiantly looks better in person. Would post pics but the rules apparently forbid me...

Not a problem. Here’s one for those curious with Sideshow’s ESB v2.

Is the RAH Jedi Fett still the reigning champ of 1/6 Fett helmets? The more I look at this one the more the lack of helmet flare is bothering me. The flare is my favorite part of the helmet design, and I'm not sure how I didn't notice it was missing in the promo pics.

Eh... maybe? Depends on which inaccuracies you’d prefer to live with I guess. If you don’t like that crease in the cheek on Sideshow’s attempts, you probably won’t like the Medicom either...

Well, the varied opinions are coming in now....

I remember the first reactions and photos of the Mythos Kenobi weren't all kind either, but after getting it myself and having a good time futzing and taking plenty of photos of it, the figure ended up being my favorite from last year.

From what I'm seeing so far, I'm sold on this Mythos Fett. The photos posted by everyone so far have him looking great and the singular video from SirKames makes up for the clunky presentation from Sideshow. I hope the body isn't too loose on it. As for the "accuracy" of the gear and helmet, considering how often the look shifted in the movies, I'm not too bothered by that as long as it looks good. One thing that is readily apparent about this figure...it's all about the futzing. Lots of different ways to go, and that's a big part of what makes it so cool.

It's going to be awhile before mine arrives from BBTS so I hope more folks who get it sooner post more shots to ease the wait.

I kinda wish this Mythos Fett included a disintegration rifle now after seeing Mando in action.

It appears Sideshow is shipping this guy for a flat $10 which makes him a bit more tempting.
Interesting. I wonder if that's a "our brand" item thing or a trial to revisit what they used to do. I ordered from SS much more when they had the $10 shipping.

As much as SSC isn't Hot Toys, it'd be disappointing if they stopped making figures as they're likely the only chance we'd have at animated show characters like Ahsoka.
They've had what, half a decade, to jump in and fill the hole HT has left with secondary, B characters, aliens, and troops. Their choice/them facing the reality of no longer making 1/6 SW is 100% on them.

Clone Wars? Sure, why not. Imagine an animated line. Revisit the cantina? Jabba's palace? There are characters they could have totally explored and left the A listers to HT.

And environments! Revisit Yoda's hut, the cantina booth, Hoth tunnels, etc. Imagine a line of products solely designed around deluxe bases from locations across the Galaxy that you can use for any HT figure. Sideshow is absolutely mishandling their access to the license. Accept you can't compete with HT, pick up your ****, and make something you know you ARE good at and still support the hobby. There are talented folks at SS. It sucks to see that wasted.

I agree, I love the flare too but keep in mind the helmet most seen in ROTJ isn't as flared as the ESB helmet.

Thanks for such a great pic. Really getting excited to do some work on this helmet - hopefully I can tease a touch more flare out of it fill that sculpted line in the cheeks.

Interesting how there were pics a couple of days ago that seemed to be confirming the Mythos helmet as a bit on the small side (though that was compared to the HT ESB) but it looks a bit bigger than the first SSC Boba helmet here.

And the SSC V.1 boots were a bit on the larger side from memory but the Mythos boots also seem larger on that front too.

Not sure I'm loving the chest armor - partly due to the shapes and partly due to the spacing - but I guess it's largely hidden on this fig.

be careful with the right gauntlet's hoses. one of mine came off. granted, its a fabric material that's just glued on, so should be an easy fix. but, those tubes are pretty fragile

Nice shots/comp shots everyone who posted and another nice base by Coco!
I guess I have less issues than most here since I am very happy with it and the body isn?t as floppy as some have mentioned. It?s not going to be a TTM but will shorten or swap the body. Since I got mine for $17 after coupon code and RPs I decided to pick up a another under retail for parts.
Also looking forward to see what you do with the helmet TaliBane.
