I?m not as worried about that, I suppose, as much as shipping. I feel like I saw somewhere that Prime 1 will charge something like $300 whereas SC would be about $100.

If the down payment does not bother you then I would go with SC... I almost did but I never ordered from them or Prime 1 before. I figure if anything bad happens and I had to cancel I only have the 160.00 loss from P1. Plus I figure if there are any issues then P1 would be the best ones to deal with. But SC is an official distributor of Prime 1 so I was probably over thinking that last part

My Son & I have now made the decision to order the Jungle Hunter DX (no interest in the corpse) and the City Hunter REG (no interest in the swapout right arm w/disc).

As I stated above.. I love that your son was part of the decision just like my son was. How old is your kid?

Still not sure who to get them from though . . .

• Concerns about delays AND shipping cost if ordering direct from PRIME1.
• Concerns about delays and no points/discount accumulation if ordering from Secret Compass.

Is PRIME1's points system similar to Sideshow's? (basically 5% of purchase price as future credit)

P1 is 1 cent per point.. So after all is said and done this came out to 84.95 in rewards.

Delays are delays.. Just about all statue companies have them... For some reason I have it in my head that Prime 1 is pretty good about getting items complete in a timely manor. I think of Batman NOEL (one I owned) coming out on time and the Hush Batman seemed to get here pretty quick.. But I seem to remember peeps complaining about something else having a big delay but don't recall what it is.


As for shipping.. Direct to me is 232.00 standard shipping to NY.. I hope it don't change much from that... Will be a massive kick to the balls if it goes up a lot.

One of those "personal preference" things - just made the display look a bit too busy for me.

Much prefer them in the sack (or elsewhere round the base).

Similar with the bloody skull/spine - it's a great addition for some sculpts - just wasn't THAT keen for this one.

Given the "stalking" pose, I just prefer this keep "clean".

It's great that nothing is fixed in place, so we can all tweak to suit our preferences (yay PRIME1 !)

I just measured how big this is compared to other stuff I have on display . . . between the pose, sculpt-quality and size, I'm thinking I'll enjoy looking at this more than my SWS maquette and Cinemaquette pieces

2nd "my bad" of the day -I meant delay getting in-hand from ONE source vs. another. Wouldn't want to find out that my chosen provider ships theirs out months after other suppliers (I think people here were hinting at this being a concern a couple of days back).

Doesn't sound too bad at-all. Wish I knew a ballpark for the likely gap between what they will each ultimately charge.

I'm sitting here wanting to place the orders (for this and the City Hunter), but don't want to "waste" money by picking the supplier that is more expensive.

Sorry Matt - my bad - I'd noted what you'd said about the bio but I'm not bugged about that.

And yeah - I guess I meant "inaccuracy" in the Sideshow sense - stuff missing, misplaced, sculpted badly, dodgy materials, bad art-direction etc.

Hadn't realised about the netting though - are we SURE it's going to be sculpted not real material?

Thanks man. It's really not much as there is custom card sites that makes it super easy.

Much easier than when I was a kid and having to scan a card and use photoshop [emoji38][emoji38] back in the 90s

It'd be nice to have the full display for sure. But I think it's just too big and too expensive for most of us. Many of us whom have been around for a while have limited real estate and the extra base on this is just a luxury which will take up a lot. If it can be found down the line for a good price, I'll grab one. But at $6-800 with $300 shipping (plus 20% tax) It's a hard sell for something that isn't really necessary to me.
