Some E3 news

so what did they announce that excited you?........personally It's the gamers like me sony should trying to appeal to, those that haven't invested in the console yet but want sony to make me want to buy it

the thing i don't understand here is that some peeps are bashing PS3 and sticking with 360 when they have both (yes Keith, you're my bro but just saying).... amongst others as well.

now lets think about this. you have 2 hot women in bed. 1 is hotter than the other. lets call her "soft". now, the other chick, she's hot too, but just not as hot. lets call her "ony", b/c shes Japanese. so anyway, are you gonna just bang the hottest one, and kick the other one out of bed? or are you gonna bang both and have a great time? because you can bang both, because you are able to.

just think about it. one doesn't always have to be put down, because you have both to entertain.

Let's see, the Netflix thing didn't exactly give me a boner and I hate the new Dashboard and other than Gears nothing really excited me for the 360. Not saying that Sony WOWED me either 'cause they didn't. But everyone is running around acting as if 360 ass raped the PS3. I love both my systems and I'm not gonna be on here bashing one system over the other.

Dude what is your problem? They completely tanked it. You are acting like you are in bed with Sony. Sometimes I think you just like to give me ^^^^ for some unknown reason. Like it's personal.

Nothing personal towards you at all. But, you claimed to NOT be anti-sony and still every post of yours sounds that way.

Like my boy Bagels said, If you have two hot broads that wanna ^^^^ you, are you gonna do one and ignore the other? No. I don't get all the hate for the PS3 (oh, wait...JediStarkiller) and I love my 360. I especially love the hate from people that own the system and even more from the ones that don't.

I'm happy with both my consoles.

I am not anti-sony, all I saying is that for me a games console is for playing games firstly & realistically the current sony exclusives that I wanna play, I could count on one hand

Imagine being a kid again and waking up Christmas morning. You are all excited to get up and open presents. You go and wake your parents up and scurry downstairs towards the tree. You wipe your eyes to get last nights eye gook out and promptly look under the tree. To your dissmay you see one tiny present under the tree. You look at your parents and wonder why santa only left one present.

That is what Sony just did at E3.

I have a PS3. Yes I enjoy what little games I have. But damnit it is time for them to get on the ball and start getting us the content they keep talking about.

There was no huge news this year. The Netflix announcement was by far the biggest and has huge potential. Sony countered with offering to be able to pay for movies. It's a nice option, but many of us have a 360 and Netflix and will certainly take advantage of the free movie streams.

The next biggest news was that FFXIII will not be a PS3 exclusive. This is a big hit to them as they've now lost 2 of their top 5 exclusive titles.

I'd say the game announcements were pretty bland as most of us knew about what was shown. Though I gotta say, this fall is going to be about as loaded with great games as last fall was (which is great for us).

Sorry Nintendo, you stunk up the joint.

The edge for this year's E3 goes easily to Microsoft with Sony not too far behind. Nintendo a very distant 3rd.

How's that for an unbiased review from someone who has all 3 systems?

a decent analogy, but weak also. what did microsoft announce that has all your guys' 4 inch peckers in a frenzy? 360 dashboard (which we've known about). wow. does it look fun? yes. but nothing new, newswise.

what else... gow2. wow. we've all been raping eachother over that news for what, 2 months now? final fantasy no longer being ps3 exclusive? wow. sony is still getting it too.

like i said. i LOVE both systems. if you hate on one, then get rid of it. why waste your time?

to be fair to sony, they announced god of war 3, ps3 movies (which i like because i can transfer them to my psp), showed resistance 2 footage (which looks great), and talked a little about killzone 3 (which they should have done more, like Ill said to me. but, check out this months EGM, they have a great cover article about it, 5 pages or so. looks fantastic.)

and, why isn't anybody bringing up the Wii, if we are going to debate E3 news? they didn't have anything amazing either.

Not to mention the coolness that is being able to put those movies you download from the PSN network on your PSP, that is sweet. I browsed their movie and TV selection last night and they have some good stuff up.

You are missing the point. I am not comparing it to any other announcements. Sony came out and said that the press was correct and that 08 was the year of the PS3. Okay fine. Sounded good. I was on board. Then guess what? They showed Resistance 2. Big deal. A game already to be far inferior to GOW 2. So why is it their year? What did they show. E3 is to showcase as I stated before what you have coming. Sony has something coming called a 10 year plan. That to me was a joke. That's all I'm saying. They shouldn't have even bothered to come out and speak at all. They clearly do not have anything ready to showcase. That is my whole point and why I am disappointed.

The Netflix deal don't do nothing for me as I don't rent movies and the same goes for Sony's movie service. The new dashboard is a wait and see approach and who knows I might like it. As far as Sony talking about MGS4 look at it this way its the biggest hit on the PS3 and they will milk it for all its worth and you cant blame them for doing it Microsoft did the same thing with Halo 3 remember all the Game Fuel and other advertisements they put out. And I agree this Fall is going to be great we have the return of the Fallout and Fable series and Gears following a month later all I know is it is a great time to be a gamer.

The only problem with that is having a PS3 is like having one of the women on the rag for 10 months. She is good to go for those two months but the other 10 you are stuck with the other woman.
