Was this light up thing an actual feature of the suit in the movie?

the only thing I can guess is that is meant to replicate the "hall of armor" that Stark presented Iron Spider to him. As for the disco party light effects, no clue....

The suit lights up after Ned disables the Training Wheels Protocol, and Karen greets Parker for the first time. It's not exactly like this video shows, but it's similar.

Are those lights coming from inside the figure or is the armor bay doing that? I watched that video shortly after it was posted yesterday and honestly didn't notice that it was the figure glowing, my mind defaulted to it being bright flashing lights from something else behind the camera reflecting off of the figure so I didn't give it a 2nd thought... Now that I gave it a closer look I'm not sure what to say about that besides that it's kinda odd.

Yeah I was wondering that myself yesterday...only a matter of time before we know for sure!

I don’t get 1/4 scale figures in general, just seem too large, toyish, and uselessly expensive when you could get a 1/6 for better prices. People always act like they found the meaning of life whenever they get their first 1/4th after only getting 1/6th lol. Yeah I guess there’s more detail sometimes but it just seems... larger. Plus I would rather have a collection that’s all in one scale. To me 1/6th is just the Goldilocks size.

By the way, that “disco” light effect is 100% coming from the figure, you can tell the lights are coming through the fabric and not from the exterior.

On one of the Sideshow videos she talks about this piece and confirms it does light up from the inside and has limited articulation.

This lights up from the inside of the figure? It's even more strange than I thought!

my pre order for the rerelease from SS just has Aug 2019 instead of july-september now

i guess they figure every shipment will start and finish within the next month

Received the rerelease yesterday after I passed on the original one.
Excellent articulation (unlike the Iron Spider), and truly an amazing figure.

NECAs maybe, but QS Hot Toys Iron Mans are extremely impressive and make their 1/6 counterparts look like toys. Getting a few of those ended my buying armors in 1/6 scale, especially considering how much diecast has jacked up the price of 1/6

Here's the scene

Seems something that will end up a toy show display only thing, like the "open Iron Man"

Got it from Ebay for the same price as sideshow, the seller is a guy in Japan (probably bought a bunch from the hot toys spiderman exhibition), I think he's already sold out.

Nice, how long did the shipping take and did the shipping take?
