Email today gave May 5th as the final payment date for the Sideshow payment plan. Getting closer

It would have to release in the next few days to even have a tiny hope of making that date.

I think that was more due to the tariffs causing a lack of space on ships and SSC flying some orders over. Seems like there is still a looooong delay after release on more than a few orders. Still you never know they could ship next week or not until July.

Word of warning to anyone with an order on BBTS. They're going to start charging sales tax in CA and other states to ALL orders starting on the first. Better cancel while ya can

Aren’t they already doing this for the states that require it? I get charged Illinois sales tax on my orders whenever they ship.

Yes, BBTS is already charging state sales tax. Have been for a while.

Im not sure i follow what you mean. The email said that is when the last payment comes out, not shipping date. Regardless, I waited such a long time since ordering, when it comes, it comes. Not sweating it over this. Had enough HT delays in the past to know that worrying over it doesnt accomplish much or anything.

Unfortunately got an email last week stating:

On April 1st, we will begin charging sales tax in the following states:

California
Colorado
Minnesota

Im not sure i follow what you mean. The email said that is when the last payment comes out, not shipping date. Regardless, I waited such a long time since ordering, when it comes, it comes. I don't either, they ship when they ship. They don't take the last payment until it ships so if it's not here before May 5 they will bump your last payment again.

Yeah, I usually go in expecting delays, so even when they send those last payment emails, i usually take that as the "maybe it will taken by date" warning. Like I was saying prior, the wait for some of these are so long as is, the delays never even phase me. Not so much here, but on a lot of collecting Facebook pages, it seems a rather sore subject and people cry and moan over a 1-2 month delay. Never makes sense to me how someone can wait 12-13 months for their figure, but add an extra 5-6 weeks to it, and its an end of the world tragedy, lol.

This has seemed really long, a legit year since ordering. Maybe they tweaked the outfit so he doesn’t look like Seinfeld in the pirate shirt. The marvel onslaught is incoming, so we need something Star Wars released. hurry up ht, I’m getting bored.

They'll also charge you sales tax on your PoL items on April 1, so definitely place the order to ship them now if you haven't already.

Nothing in my PoL but have 3 PO’s this year. I think I’ll just bite the bullet... save on shipping and get the items a month after everyone else has them in hand

Ugh, I got that email as well. I was starting to cut back on my BBTS orders anyway, but already paid the $112 NRD for 1/4 Vader so I'm stuck with that one. And I hate to imagine what the tax is gonna be on that sucker.

Has Timewalker sent any similar emails out yet? I haven't heard anything about CA from them, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they have to start charging too...

Yeah I paid NRD for the Maul Deluxe and waiting on a ROTJ Trooper and a Star Destroyer model kit. I almost POed the 1/4 Vader too but have been waiting on RP’s to convert. Think I’ll get him through SSC near his release since I should have a nice chunk to throw down by then. Unfortunately I think all online purchases will be taxed by the end of the year, Timewalker, AE, etc. and eBay which is a bummer.
