Figures.com: Are there any plans at this time to make a 1:6 scale Alien Queen figure?

Hot Toys: Originally not, but after receiving huge numbers of inquiries and demands from fans and with the success of 1:6th Power Loader release, we put the 1:6 (Alien Queen) project on the table seriously again...

I'd buy one, if it wasn't too hugely expensive and was better quality than my alien warrior. I wonder how much it might be. About the same as the power loader, if not more, I would think.

Wor-Gar and I called this in early 06 in the Aliens Monster Thread.

Why? Because Howard Chan is just as much an 80s Movie freak as we are, even more so.. and there is NO challenge he and the HT Design team can't meet. Once they made the PL, you knew the Queen was already in development. Can't have one without the other...

The dude is my Hero. Power Loader coming ETA 48 Hrs!

They got this bi-yatch on the table already. Must be some engineering issues so they're releasing this news as a stall. Maybe they're racing to make their Toyfair debut so they're leaking this.

What a huge day for HT Aliens/Predator fans. I will be ordering everything they offer in these lines. It's crazy, when they first announced Scar and Celtic preds, I never dreamed it would go this far.

Considering that the Queen is 14' tall and somewhere in the neighborhood of 30' long, I don't even want to think about the price( can you say' too rich for my blood'? I thought you could...). And where do you put a 28" by 60" figure( I know-anywhere it wants!). Just had to toss a bit of reality into the mix here...PS

Since yours truly so humbly first predicted this early last year, over 18 months ago, I will now go WAAAAY out on a limb and predict we will see her Majesty at TF 08. Fingers crossed!

That means at this time next year, we may be holding her in our hands!

So, you guys GET your PL soon, I mean before TF 08 if ya can, because the PL will jump in price when this happens.

It will become the ULTIMATE 6th scale Grail Collection display.

I can only assume that they are pretty advanced in the design of this monster, and the only thing that was holding them back was the money factor. Now that the PL has proven a success, they are more confident that they can pull off the queen!
Great news and Hot Toys is by far 1/6 scale company of the millennium!
