One of the most over-played bands in the history of radio, but the talent of Tom Scholz is undeniable. Wrote almost all of their songs, developed their sound, was an MIT-trained engineer who developed his own equipment and recorded and produced the first Boston album in his basement. Many bands I love formed as a direct response to how much they hated this kind of music, but as I get older, I am learning to appreciate bands like this, ELO, and the Doobie Brothers more than I did as a youngster.
Seems like I should eventually get tired of this album, but I never really do. I think this was a special thing.
My favorite Ramone's song. I was fortunate to see them at Lollapalooza in the '90s.
Love the Ramones and one of my favorite songs that they’ve done. One of those bands that’s never in the conversation that much for being one of the best, but anyone into music knows how important and influential they were. Icons….
