What are you listening to?

This video is oddly mesmerizing, particularly the woman. Which is probably by design, given the name of the song. One of the more distinctive bands of the '80s in my opinion.



And here is a band that I have always liked. But it wasn't until recently that I dug into their earlier catalog and found out what tremendous musicians they all are. Drummer was in-demand for studio work, and played with Roxy Music among others. Slap bass in a pop song during this period was unusual, and fantastic.

I heard that recently, Dokken has been playing shows with George Lynch. But only for a handful of songs. Weird.

At the time, almost all the "live" TV performances were done to a track. I love it when bands of the time screw around and make it obvious that they aren't actually playing. Colin Moulding is doing that here.
