hey man, thank you. actually doing a bust this large would be EASIER than a smaller hot toys figure, because of all the joints and moving parts. but it could be done, it would just be a headache because it would need to be disassembled. but the bust is pretty straight forward with masking and painting.
I've done many kinds of customs, but nothing that shows chrome really.
i won't bog this thread down with photos, but rather links to photos if thats alright, since you asked to see custom work.

Nice! I especially like your Iron Patriot!
I understand about the paining. Much easier when its large. Your going to need automotive paint etc

They are not completely red. The eyes have the cover and that is mostly colored red.
It has to be powered up to see the eyes better
 
Love the pics here. Going to hold out as long as possible. If the edition was low I'd jump. Hate open editions. Will I wait a year, 2 years to order. Wish they'd just stamp it with a size. Sucks.

I like the option to wait. This is an awesome piece. But so is the Wolverine Bust which is an edition of 350. I can't see this edition being that high. Even as opened I can't see more then 300 being made. They should of stamped this 150 or 200. I'm sure it would be around for awhile. Limited /Open is stupid. Once the DC stuff hits full swing I may have to pass on this. Also Gotta get the HT Batmobile. Wanna get this bust out of the way. But if its there in 2 years. See what happens.
 
Wow, never thought it would look this good ! I might crack and get it to put in my theater with the IM III. Damn Sideshow.

thanks man. iron patriot did come out great. still looking for a mark 3 that i can customize into the mark 2. war machine is the best, but theres no way i could ever afford that. haha
 
because it's open ES. If they're smart and patient, getting one on the aftermarket will save them hundreds.
