Also, unless they make space for it, the box-set will be out-of-date next year when Skyfall comes out on Blu-Ray.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch Blu-ray
Posted January 11, 2012 06:03 PM by Josh Katz
Warner Home Entertainment will bring Gremlins 2: The New Batch to Blu-ray next summer. This madcap sequel to the 1984 horror-comedy finds Billy (Zach Galligan, Waxwork) and his Mogwai Gizmo (Howie Mandel, Gremlins) stuck in an ultra-modern New York City skyscraper and facing off ever-increasing hordes of malicious Gremlins.
Featuring spirited performances from John Glover (Batman & Robin), Phoebe Cates (Fast Times at Ridgemont High), ____ Miller (New York, New York), Robert Prosky (Last Action Hero), Christopher Lee (Horror Express), Robert Picardo (Total Recall), and Tony Randall (Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?) - as well as imaginative special effects from Rick Baker (Men in Black) - director Joe Dante (Piranha) uses the sequel's framework as an excuse to pay homage to his filmmaking inspirations, turning the film's second half into a post-modern collage of Roger Corman cheapies, 1950's monster movies, Looney Tunes cartoons, and even Broadway musicals.
Warner has not released the technical and supplementary specifications for this Blu-ray, so it is still unknown if the disc will include any of the following supplements that appeared on the DVD:
Commentary by director Joe Dante, producer Michael Finnell, writer Charlie Haas, and star Zach Galligan
Behind The Screams featurette
Deleted scenes
Gremlin Files feature
Gag reel

Gremlins 2: The New Batch is expected to street on May 8th.
This March, Anchor Bay Home Entertainment will bring Battle Royale: The Complete Collection to Blu-ray. Inspired by Koushun Takami's controversial bestseller, the two films comprising the collection - Battle Royale and Battle Royale II: Requiem - detail a dystopian future where teenagers are forced to fight to the death in a yearly competition.
Directed by Kinju ___asaku (Tora! Tora! Tora!), the first Battle Royale remains one of the most controversial thrillers ever made; due to its violent content involving children, Battle Royale only just received its its first official North American theatrical run on December 24th, 2011. International star Takeshi Kitano (Outrage) headlines the film as the teacher who introduces his class - 3-B - to the rules and regulations of the BR Act.
For the sequel, ___asaku's son Kenta picked up the directing reins after his father died of prostate cancer. Battle Royale II: Requiem expands the scope of its predecessor, as it follows both the bloody exploits of a new class turned against itself as well as the terrorist plot orchestrated by the first film's survivors to bring down the BR Act forever.
This four-disc collection offers the Battle Royale theatrical and director's cuts and the Battle Royale II: Requiem director's cut, with Battle Royale in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and Battle Royale II: Requiem in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. All versions have accompanying 7.1 Japanese (w/English subtitles) Dolby TrueHD and 5.1 English Dubbed Dolby TrueHD audio tracks. The set also contains the following bonus supplements:
The Making Of Battle Royale featurette
Battle Royale press conference
Instructional video: "Birthday Version"
Audition/rehearsal footage
Special effects comparison featurette
Footage from the 2000 Tokyo International Film Festival
Battle Royale documentary
"Basketball Scene" rehearsals
Behind-the-scenes featurette
Filming on-set footage
Original theatrical trailer
Special Edition TV spot
TV spot: "Tarantino Version"
In addition, Anchor Bay will also release a bare-bones, single-disc edition of the Battle Royale director's cut. This copy shares the same technical specifications as found in the "Complete Collection" but has no special features.
Battle Royale: The Complete Collection and the single-disc Battle Royale Blu-ray street on March 20th.
This year, Warner Home Entertainment will bring reissues of Citizen Kane and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre to Blu-ray.
The American Film Institute's choice for Best American Film of All Time, Citizen Kane marks the feature-length writing, directing, and acting debut of Orson Welles (The Stranger). Borrowing elements from the life of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst in order to create fictional protagonist Charles Foster Kane (Welles), Welles crafted this technically innovative portrait of power and ambition.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, on the other hand, remains one of the most influential horror movies ever made. Director Tobe Hooper (Poltergeist) brings a vérité-style approach to this tale of five young adults terrorized by a cannibalistic Texas family, the most terrifying member being Leatherface, a savage, unstable killer who uses a mask made from human flesh to cover his facial disfigurations.
The technical and supplementary specifications for Warner and New Line's "40th Anniversary Edition" of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Blu-ray are still unknown.
Regarding Kane, however, Warner's new two-disc Kane edition presents the film in its 1.37:1 original aspect ratio with a monaural DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc also retains the following special features from the three-disc Ultimate Collector's Edition:
Audio commentary by Peter Bogdanovich
Audio commentary by Roger Ebert
World Premiere of Citizen Kane featurettes
Interviews with Ruth Warrick and Robert Wise
Production galleries (featuring commentary from Roger Ebert)
Deleted scenes
Theatrical trailer
Full-length The Battle Over Citizen Kane documentary on a separate DVD
Previously available as a Best Buy-exclusive, this version of Citizen Kane expands its release schedule to retailers everywhere on January 17th, while The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is expected to street on October 1st.
I like Citizen Kane and Texas Chainsaw Massacre mentioned simultaneously...
