If it's CA (cyanoacrylate) then it's just superglue with a different name. I'd assume it would hold that though?

I use superglue for a lot of things...though I probably would've gone with a clear 2-part epoxy on this one, just for the added strength. But hey, all's well that ends well!

Yes, I am sure it will hold it initially. I just know that superglue can get brittle over time and I would hate to see it come apart and actually break this time. He got lucky it broke only at the attachment point seam, if the glue fails and the arm falls it may do more damage next time that would require a lot more work. I have not used Zapagap so I don't know its longevity.
 
Do you guys have a clear epoxy you recommend... that stays nice and clear, over time? Thanks.
