I'd be interested in the set obviously if you have any interest in organizing this with Will, and/or if you make more than one "outfit". Again, I don't think there's too many Humungus fans out there -- but if you build one to show, more will follow.

Ill keep talking to Will, hes a good dude very generous and in my opinion has the best mel head atm, he said hes considering making a new max aswell. If a few peeps in the thread show some interest ill see if he wants to start an interest thread.

Is this for max right? I think the closest accurate gun you can find is the one that came with vts toys max figure that's the tom hardy version. The shotgun include is more RW.

Yeah its for max, unfortunately im having trouble finding the vts shotgun which is the one i want, its not easy getting stuff at a reasonable price in australia.

Yeah I understand most of the important stuff for a custom max are rare to find. Hope that vts consider doing a RW Max.

Finally this found its way back to the action figures section after years of being lost.

Along with Indiana Jones, this project has been the most elusive to me in completion -- I still seek that perfect head. I have almost everything to build a RW Max, some items I've had since the early 2000s... and I've got half dozen heads or so in that time.

Now that Indy is done, I'd really love to complete that other "hero" from 1981.

Have you checked out Scott Petersen's sculpt? I was really tempted on picking it up, just to have it ready for whatever route I take; custom or licensed figure.

sorry im not sure where the knife is from if i find one ill send you a link, Ive had 2 but i remade my second one as im on a budget. Thank you reminded me about my customs thread, I just looked through it again reminds me of the good ol days lol. Its finished so far ! Everything but the body i already had in my parts bin its far from perfect but im pretty happy with it. Ill chuck a pic of my first one aswell.

Yeah you're right but it seems te be specifically mad max for some reason, ive seen great braveheart and lethal weapon era mels.

So I didn't even know about this but funko had the license to fury road and announced a legacy line of 6" figures? But its been cancelled apparently. Is it really that hard to give us some licensed mad max figures ? God a company is making a school of rock figure before we get a mad max figure for **** sake !

I agree with you. Though I think it has to do with George Miller giving up the license just like that. After all he is very protective of it. If anyone can do it I think it could be Blitzway if they can get the license of course for road warrior.

It's a shame nobody would be interested in a 'generic' Max. I'm just replaying the awesome PS4 game, and personally, I'm not bothered that it's not Mel.

I was wondering if Hot Toys might create a head sculpt of Tom Hardy from the forthcoming Venom movie as part of a figure set that could be modified to resemble Max? That is providing half his face isn't missing
