I have a few of those heads kicking around I will pop one in the post mate.. but you will have to remind me :).

Right, with Cbob picking up the pace and making us all sick to the teeth because we all have so many projects unfinished and the thought of starting yet another is insane. I have set my sights on finishing a few and then doing Rogue and Stront (with Cbobs help)

so on the list of jobs.

star trek heads and phazer moulds and casts for Ron
Han and Luke heads for Buzz
Speeder bike repaint and a shed load of gloves and stuff for Deathstalker
Space marine moulds (only the thighs and forearms to make moulds for now)

the kitchen table...... ThunderG I know you can relate to this.

Sweet :D and i got the stuff for stront the guy on ebay sent me 2 shotguns instead of 1. He refunded me for a helmet he didnt have and sent me a joker headsculpt, wtf thats all about i dont know.

Rogue looks amazing!
The detailing on the helmet is zarjazz!

Cheers man i do need to finish it yet but thought i'd get on with the wep and packs etc so i can look at it to make sure i get the colours right before the final paint.

HAhahah... well as ma momma used to say to me "Son you can never have to many big guns"

All the moulds went well, the trek heads are a tough couple as they have such great detail. The Phazer ooww my so chuffin small but it looks ok. i cant get the tip of it but I will post pics in a bit.

The space marine abs and butt plate came out to, bleedin thin!

Pics comin

Perfectly thin..... :) the resin we use is so great.. warm water and you can bend it all over the shop!

Yeah, I've been impressed by your castings. Last night I was drilling the plugs out of the heads you sent me, and I was able to mill the plugs without any cracking or breaking (and I pulled a lot of resin out of those heads. takes a while).

I noticed there's a lot of fiber as I grind the resin away. Are you using a micro-filler or fiberglass mix? I used to do a little bit of casting but never got very far with it. The resin I used had a clean white surface resembling your stuff, but it was prone to brittle breaks.

I'm able to get a HT neck into the Han head, It looks like I'll need to get a HT slim for Luke.

The resin is great!! I have used stuff in the past that was so brittle and was basically pants. But the stuff I now use is bomb proof.. chuffin expensive but so worth it.

I usually roto cast the heads so they are hollow ish. But to save time I did yours as a straight poor.

The resin is not as hard to dremel as some I have encountered.

Today has been quite an amazing day...
I have bee sitting watchin the snow and tryin to keep warm.

Had a wee box from a dear friend who is one of the chaps who really got me hooked on custom stuff... Rogue Trooper you are the man and I can not thank you enough......
