How many pieces I cut the hull into? ...top 4 and bottom 4 I guess.
When assembling this stuff I usually use Loctite 60sec glue. It gives you a moment to make sure that all lines are aligning.

Slicing the first of the four top parts I see that it will take a while printing both top and bottom... patience is demanded.

Cool. I'll be very interested how well you can smooth out those layer lines on the canopy.

I guess you'll use the Miliput smoothing technique you mentioned previously ?

The concern about layer lines is about the only thing holding me up from getting a PLA printer.

Yes, the canopy was especially hard when it came to avoiding layer lines. But it will be pretty easy to smooth those out. I wouldn?t use miliput, but rather some filler.

Ok, last one. I had to make the helmet wider to look right. So the other two will be displayed on small stands I think.
