What hands and bodied are you using on the Marmit Sandtroopers?

The sandy is all stock just reweathered him. The ones in the background are Kotobukiya.

I ordered a second Marmit...waiting for it to arrive. I'm working on a Tatooine scene with the new C3PO, so for my custom Marmits I went with the oil smudges with a slight gloss coat (that I just put on today), vs the sand and dirt look used for the Dewback display.

i used acetone & qtips. just make sure you don't over do it where it runs. acetone is quite caustic. though it does evaporate rather quickly. but agreed the marmit sandtrooper weathering is awful.

Cleaned up my Marmit Sandtrooper using some nail polish. Now I like a dirty trooper as much as the next man, but I think he looks much better as the Emperor intended!

its all good, i remember when i tried to weather my marmit squad.........Dorgs called them the poodoo squad. they were all muddy instead of sandy. i ended up sending them to him and he did an excellent job. i did however repaint my sideshow sandies with some tips and help from barryo, i'll try and post some pics of them later on.

Nice job on the cleaning. The last bit of smudge comes off easy with the acetone. Clean is cool....but I prefer dirty. If you're going to stay white, why not give them an airbrush and a Future gloss??

Sweet. Looks like you have him on a TT body, slim? Does that TT head fit under the helmet?
