S.H.FiguArts Dragonball Z figures!!!

I remember seeing SSj3 Goku sitting on the top of the shelf at my local toy store for months, it was literally collecting dust & customers would avoid it like the plague. I always told the owner of the store "i'm gonna buy that 1 day soon" cuz I was in no rush to get it (i wasn't obsessed with S.H. Figuarts then as I am now lol)

Eventually I bought it for 50 bucks

I envy you. What other stores do you think might have him? Like Barnes N Nobles maybe?

I found mine in an anime shop called Too Cool at a mall back in August. You can check those types of places.

Over thinking it. It's an allocation problem for Bluefin and its retailers. If your idea was an option, Tamashii can't distribute to the Western market what they don't have anymore. Bluefin's supply of Broly is in a container on Long Beach and won't move until the dispute is settled.

...Anybody want to take a trip to Long Beach with a crow bar?

Just watched Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! It was hilarious. I wish Funimation dubbed it and added it to the Battle of Gods blu-ray. That would have been a great combo pack.

Are there any more anime shorts like that? I already watched Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.

Well, **** it, with the stupid long beach port ****, toy arena and anime island both out of stock, my local shop out of stock (unexpectedly god dammit), and toyzindabox and BBTS screwing you during customs, I bit the bullet and bought 17 for a 'euopean' price...

Sigh, bit more than I wanted to pay but I'm not risking not getting him, or having to pay even more. The one ****ing time I don't PO.

They're not consistent? Hm, that's unfortunate. Figuarts Zero the only ones that keep the consistency?

There's some HSCF and HQDX statues that scale well with one another, but which ones exactly I have no idea. I know a lot of the various Frieza form statues are scaled pretty accurately with Figuarts.




I would like to know if these statues fit in well with Figuarts

Goku looks pretty decent. Bardock looks too much like he's trying to spike a volleyball.

Gee, are everyone's Piccolos as unwieldy as mine? He was MISB when I opened him today and his joints are a bit loose, the feet and the hip especially. The crossed arms hold still but feel like they are barely on. The heads on the other hand on almost impossible to get on.

Are all Piccolos like this? Or is this an SDCC thing? Or is mine just a lemon?

Not a real big deal as he holds poses pretty well but he is no where near as tight and cooperative as Android 17.

Haha don't worry dude, once you have it in hand it will feel a little better. Weird shoulder-flaps aside, it's an excellent figure & you're gonna love breaking the joints in and messing around with the poses. Tamashii seems to be getting better & better with each new release, both accessory & quality-wise. It's as if 17 (along with 18) literally jumped out of the anime & right into your hands, the figure is that good.

It'll be even better when 16 is released!

@crisis - they aren't in scale, those resins are 1/6 scale.

@Android 20 - mine was also loose, I'm guessing it's a common problem.
