Excellent mod and new paint job!! About how long is that new neck stem? 3/4" ? Diameter of the rod used?

That's friggin awesome. Cant believe it came out so cool.
For the darker paint, do you think denatured alcohol would have worked to remove it all? I know a lot of folks use the nail polish remover, but denatured alcohol may work better.

I used t-cut car polish on my medicom sandies and it came off ok.

Great repaint!, you probally improved it the best its going to get.though could have painted in the aerators or whatever they are called.
