Re: Queen Studios Collectibles - Terminator 2 - T-800 & T-1000 1:1 Busts and 1:4 Stat

No Terminator statues? But yeah that price is a bit much for me as well. Still interested to see how their 1/4 statues will look though.

With Terminator in particular I'll always look at what else is going on in the collectible world outside the domain of action figures but I can't afford this other stuff and I'm OK with that. Long as I can get my toys.

FYI, just in case anyone is interested, I asked Queen Studios if they had any further plans for more T2 stuff. They said yes, next year. I asked specifically if they would consider making an endoskeleton and they also said yes, although they didn't confirm a scale. I did suggest a 1/4 scale though to go with their planned statues. Exciting times for Terminator fans!

Pretty sure someone is gonna like 'I can't see Arnie at all, is this Demi Morre?'

I think it's amazing and they've done a good job of getting the endo eye situated adjacent to the human eye which is an aesthetic pet peeve of mine :lol

It also looks like it's worth the price of a small car.

Re: Queen Studios Collectibles - Terminator 2 - T-800 & T-1000 1:1 Busts and 1:4 Stat

Terminator Files posted a number of things that are still wrong with this and I do agree. They aren't insignificant things and at this level, these kind of things shouldn't be missed.

The quality itself looks amazing. I still think something looks off though, can't quite put my finger on it. The stubble looks unnatural too.

These look amazing. I am predicting 2.5 to 3k.

This is what they mentioned.

- There is cast residue around/behind the eye
.... (either remove it, or color it fleshy)
- The four eye pistons should have ball bearings
- The jaw pistons should not be fused to the skull
- The teeth should not be chrome, but normal color
- His left cheek needs scratched skin
- The indent on the back of the head is too wide
- The chest indent is too wide
- The six indents should be vertical, not diagonal
- The vertical line should disappear under the flesh
- Its left chest port is not screen accurate.

Some of those are definitely memorable from the film and noticeable, others, I personally would have to analyze numerous screen shots to spot. Interesting that the more glaring absence of grenade bandolier isn't on the list.

I do think overall, it' a great piece. The bearings missing from the eyes are inexcusable. The jaw pistons are an issue for me as well. Some things you might be able to live with. The hair always screws with the overall look. It should be pretty much standing up along the hairline, not swooped back. Maybe some combing could fix that.

I wonder why 3d is in the title on the photographs? Seperate licenses maybe I suppose.

I still have my lifesize sideshow bust and love it. I don't think I need to upgrade it, especially for this price. I paid £300 for my bust. Those were the days haha.

It almost looks like the first one on the left is a proto because the hair is so different. All the others have a slicked back Fonzie look to them. If it's just variation, then I would really want to pick my own piece rather than just take what they give me. Obviously you can futz a bit, maybe take some scissors to it, then take the chance of ruining something you just paid several thousand dollars for.

Product Update by Queen Studios Collectibles

We’d like to thank all of our fans for the support and constructive feedback. After releasing photo’s of the updated T-800, we realized we had some more work to do. As promised, we’ve taken the feedback on board, and we’ve made changes to the T-800.

1. The teeth have been changed from "chrome look" to white.

2. The flesh around the top of the skull is now more jagged, creating a more authentic battle damaged look.

3. The jaw pistons were previously fused to the skull. The pistons are now detached.

Cheers guys! As always, let us know what you think of the updates
