Nothing much happening in the Bruce Lee figure collecting world, but I have been following on YouTube an artist in Singapore - Julian Khor (https://www.nonamesmith.com) -who has been doing a Bruce Lee project for some time now. It is very experimental...

I was following his work on Bruce Lee some time ago. His work looks more impressive now (Bruce Lee), from the time I was keeping an eye on his work. Thanks for posting.

That is really, really nice, thanks for posting GungFu.

Ah the days when Bruce Lee figures were being rolled out every year...

Likewise, GungFu. I've also been wondering what's going on with the license and if anyone's going to do anything with it.

I spoke to this guy sometime ago to try to make his work available but he changes his mind fast and came to a dead end.

But there is a another guy who is also working on a Lee head. I will bring more details when he finishes it.

the full head/body shot looks good (the body needs slimming down IMO) and now he's done with the subject(cost maybe??)Bruce has all but vanished from the collecting game..shame the BL figure/statue releases have dried up Enterbay don't care anymore,so it's up to the custom guys to put out some new stuff, even then there's only a few head sculpts out(including the massively over produced 75th Ann sculpt which did nothing for me) with the ganghood body now available it would be nice for some skilled person to do a few new style heads,or some company to get the OK from Shannon to make some new 1/6-1/4 stuff.

Does Storm Collectibles still have the license? A few years ago they announced that they would be doing some 1/6 scale Bruce Lee figures, but only ended up releasing a 1/12.

there was a fallout with Arnie over their 2nd release,Arnie claimed they redid his headsculpt without consulting him,so end of partnership.i know Arnie is still doing some bruce stuff from his studio, but on a mass produced scale very unlikely.

Yeah I remember that fallout, but I thought Storm would just get another person to sculpt it since they had the license. I wonder if they still have the license.

I've no idea if storm still has the rights,if they could get a good sculptor then maybe future Bruce's may become available.but for me personally any premium figure/statue would have to really impress me to buy(i saw a 1/6 ETD statue) on PO from china-x but it's been months since any updates.it looks almost a copy of blitzway's 1/3 but with a better pose IMO.lets hope we see more BL in the future

Some pics of my Enterbay 1/4 Bruce, still love it after all these years (i think it's turning 8 now :D). Really a beautiful figure that holds up to this day.

you wont find a better value 1/4 scale statue like that,i know it's vinyl, but @ 140$ new from blitzway it was a steal even then.try finding one less than double that, and I think the sweat, colour and cuts are better than blitzway's 1/3.

Just picked up the enterbay 1/4 WOD statue. I think it's pretty good but the paint makes his skin looks like plastic. Was there any repainting attempt done by anyone?

I think someone on here, several years ago redid it with a slightly tanned colour and it looked better,i agree the paint on this is a little flat, and the headsculpt came out far from the proto effort giving bruce a slightly weird look.

Raymond Chow passed away on 2nd. November 2018. I was lucky enough to meet him in a very special screening of Bruce Lee's "Big Boss" the year before. He had gotten very old and was having problem walking and talking. After the screening I got a chance to sit down with him to take some pictures, have an item signed by him and shake his hand. It was a very humble and moving moment for me, and I am glad I took the trip to HK to attend this very special event.

Hope all is well in here. It is sad that there are no exciting news about some great figure releases, other than some un-licenced (and alterated copies of others work).

By the way, did I have a discussion with one of you about Bruce's removal of his sweat glands ? There was some talk that it did not happen when I mentioned it, and I now like to clerify it.

Picked up the 1:4 KO Bruce lee for $200 they also have a game of Death Version but isn't accurate.

Hi everyone.
In connection with their Bruce Lee Game of Death set, Enterbay released the underlying body:

6-scale-enterbay-bruce-lee-game-death_1_a5b5009b8feb0072ae34673498ab0df7.jpg

As far as I know, it was supposed to be fully seamless from waist upwards, but in the end, shoulder articulations ended up being not seamless. Otherwise, it looks like a great body, considering Enterbay's apparent quest for quality (I might be wrong, never owned anything from them).

I am considering using this particular body for a Dagobah training Luke Skywalker, because its build looks similar to that of Luke. But before pulling the trigger, I'd like to clear up some doubts. Maybe if any of you guys own the body or the Game of Death set might be able to help me make a decision:

1) Just how compatible is this body's neck/ankle/wrist connectors wrt HT-ish heads and hands?

2) Just how compatible is this body's skin colour wrt usual HT-ish heads and hands?

2) Is there any torso articulation? Is it sculpted plastic or rubber?

3) Is there any neck articulation? Is it sculpted plastic or rubber?

4) To those of you owning this item for a long time, 2 last questions:

4.1) Is the body sturdy and durable in terms of the rubber covering the body parts?

4.2) Are articulations tight? Do they remain tight with use?

Thanks to anyone willing to help!
Best,
m.

ive had ht hands on this fine, colour match is ok,shame the elbow joints break, and the rubber cracks/peels.not the greatest body made, and very hard to find today, maybe a phicen body would be a better bet.
