I had the Osoul Zhao Yun and Osoul Lu Bu. They used cheap plastic, crappy paint that faded, and really bad bodies with loose joints that can’t hold a pose while costing a lot of money.

that sucks.. well I ordered Sima Yi deluxe set from Timewalker Toy since I like the accessories/costume and to a certain extend armor/clothing design. Since the item is now on its way to my place, I hope O Soul get their s.h.i.t together with this latest release.

Can you share your photo of Zhao Yun and Lubu O-Soul version? How old are these releases? 5+ yr ago?

I sold them long ago. They were released at least 2 years ago.

I'm surprised I haven't seen this set here or anywhere else much: Monkey King on Throne. I've wanted it ever since I saw it at Shanghai Comic Con in 2018. I passed on it When it first came out due tot the high price but last week, I bit the bullet! I already have the 2.0 figure so this one is a bit obsolete. Too bad they don't sell the throne without Sun Wukong figure. I got the deluxe set, including base and 4 monkeys.

The 4 monkeys are really nice, plastic and unarticulated but really nice detail. The throne and base however are very lightweight plastic. At this price point I had expected resin, like most Phicen bases.

Just a quick review on the O Soul Sima Yi deluxe set, in case you guys are interested in picking this up

The set is super nice and with the past complains on how poorly O Soul product, I am pleasantly surprised

Pros:
+ Numerous accessories
+ Well made accesories
+ Clothes are excellently tailored with good material
+ Armors are beautiful with well painted details
+ Headsculpts are good with wide range of emotions
+ Bonus heads are well made
+ The in-hand products are matching the promo photos (my biggest surprise)

Cons:
- Weak body. Definitely weaker than the other Inflames or TBleague. I think it is similar to Coo Model or early ACI bodies. Definitely can stand on its own but I have doubt about long term pose without a stand
- Plastic armor (not sure if this is a cons because metal armor will CRUSH the weak body)

Final thought: I need a Sima Yi figure to match Zhuge Liang and this is the ONLY decent game in town. With TimeWalkerToy's 10% July 4th discount, I am okay with what O Soul offers for the Sima Yi deluxe set. The set is beautiful in hand. Don't let the weak body stop you from owning this.

edit: Is that stick a single piece? or assembled in parts? - It looks somewhat bent..? Maybe optical illusion or camera lens edge warping..

Not exactly new, but since they haven't yet been discussed here, here are some photos of the 1/12 Zhang Fei. Looks like he came out in May, so I'm hoping BBTS gets their shipment within the next month or two.

I think I prefer the smaller scale for the fur as it looks a bit cleaner, but there are a couple of unboxing videos on YouTube where it doesn't protrude evenly from the shoulder armor (see below). I hope that's not a common issue and/or can be fixed with futzing.

I don't think so. I remember Guan Yu 2.0 didn't hit the States until a few months after Asia. Maybe September or October?
