What’s amazing about Goldeneye is that it is the only Bond movie and any movie really that has a video game that is as popular and well loved as the movie it’s based on.

Jesus I can’t get over the measly 56 million opening that is really embarrassing I was expecting way more.

I think you will like The Living Daylights and License to Kill with Timothy Dalton because Goldeneye almost feels like a sequel or a continuation of the two Dalton films. Dalton even looks similar to Brosnan, so I'd watch those two films first, before watching the 60's and 70's films.
The 60's and 70's Bond films will take some adjustment, but to me Connery era is the best even if the action isn't on the level of Casino Royale.

It was delayed for so long that it probably feels old. Also, all the woke stuff turns people off and Specter was so forgettable that it doesn't help either. Finally, the film is not great, just middle of the road good, so it's not a "must watch" event. Considering it's Craig's last film, they should have used that angle during the marketing. For F007 sakes, how about a "legacy" trailer showing Craig's journey as Bond? Make it feel like this is it, the his last film!! But nope, all the talk was about a female 007. Who the **** wants to watch that bull ****?

She needs to go to Marvel or Disney.Maybe WB will give her a good role. Unfortunately, they gave the Super Girl and Bat Girl roles to other actresses.
She's adorable. The fact that she doesn't now who Jar Jar is makes her waifu material.

I really can watch all of the Bonds except for Tomorrow Never Dies, World is Not Enough and Die Another Day. Those three are just super cringy. The real old ones have a lot of long cuts of dialog and it is just another world now with the billion editing cuts a film has today. Something about Bond though is just high class, beautiful women, fast cars, beating the bad guys and some good old fashioned fun.
Long runtime. Plus Spectre might've helped with it's disappointment.
