I have the soundtrack CD and Arnold's score is excellent. Really great stuff, nearly on par with Casino Royale.

And the title song...it's growing on me. I really like the sound and beat of it and the lyrics are very good, but the vocals are the real problem with the song. It seems very modern, which is fine. Bond's have to adapt to changing times and tastes.

I hope this film doesn't disappoint. Initial reviews aren't glowing, by any means

Believe it or not I've never seen a 007 movie. I was never into the whole "spy" thing but I saw this trailer when I went to see The Dark Knight and I thought it looked good. So now I might have to give this one a chance.

You should rent Casino Royale first because this will pick up where that one left off.

Those could be fans like me who just don't like the new direction of the movies as much as the older ones. It can still be a really good movie. I hope its a really good movie.

I love the new direction. Its the best thing to happen to the bond flims since...ever!

So im sure i'll like this.

Have seen the movie. It's NOT awful! But doesn't work as a separate film (because it isn't, it's the continuation of CR's story.) Those who have said it feels like the second film in a trilogy is not far off. Some great scenes but it took a while to get into it as you're literary just thrown into the action with no idea what's going on other than it's a carchase. Love the relationship between Bond and M though. I guess the humor will come in the next one as he can move on after the betrayal and death of Vesper and him getting revenge. Not saying more here. I'll open a spoiler thread if there isn't one already.:007

That's something of an understatement. Most of what I've read is calling the new movie James Bourne. 007 Magazine gave it a 1/10 score (they gave Casino Royale 10/10).

What a silly inept review.

Why are people complaining that it's a sequel? This has been well known ever since the film was announced. How can that be associated negatively with the film? Should Empire be knocked down a peg or two because it's a sequel and you have to have seen A New Hope beforehand to know what's going down? Sheesh.

I haven't seen the film, but it looks like it's taking chances with the formula and creating a tight, fast, cut-throat, action film with a more emotionally charged Bond at the forefront. I see nothing wrong with changing it up. Frankly, Bond needs to be rattled stylistically every decade or so. He's a constantly evolving character, changing with the times and tastes. Always has been, always will be.

It takes place 20 minutes after Casino ends if I'm not mistaken. Screw the critics, I loved Casino Royale and am up for whatever adventure Craig's Bond takes us on. IMHO there was no Bond before Casino Royale.
