Mondo 1/6 Scale He-man and The Masters of the Universe figures

He looks OK, His legs have to really spread apart, and he looks a little odd. but I guess it works for now.

This is the size of a house cat…I’d say master verse is the size of a small squirrel at most.

I measured my smallest cat, and she's definitely bigger than that Battle Cat. It's still impressive in size.

I’m just kidding. I was just using a rough approximation with small animals. I know there’s a variety of sizes in both squirrels and cats. My eldest cat for instance that sadly just past a few months back was a runt. She spent most her life under 6 pounds and was quite the tiny girl! She was definitely smaller than BattleCat. Same with the cat my neighbor left behind that my folks feed. She’s unfortunately gone half feral and we can’t get her inside, but she’s spayed. She is also smaller than BattleCat. Side tangent aside, I’m still super excited for this release. The PixelDan video has me even more hyped. Not to mention at the end of the video the guys from Mondo say they aren’t done with cats yet. It almost certainly means Panthor, but I’d be on cloud 9 if it somehow meant they got the ThunderCats license…

I was able to get a deluxe He-Man, so I’m just getting one BattleCat. I’ve been looking to get a Mondo Skeletor ever since I neglected to get the original release so I’m jumping on the one next year as soon as it drops. Then if Panthor releases, I’ll pick him up though I’m hoping it ends up being less than BC…

This He-Man is just a standard edition of the deluxe edition released earlier during the summer. If you preordered that one, you will be good for Battle Cat.

I know it is, that’s why it’s $30 off. I’m just worried about space at this point in my collection. Originally, I thought I missed out on He-Man when I didn’t get the other one, so I went ahead and got the Iron Studios version instead. Still overall, the figure costs about the same as a Hot Toys figure.

Battle Cat is the million-dollar question though, as awesome as it looks, it's pretty expensive. I have a feeling though that if I want to get him later, he'll cost a lot more!

Yeah, that’s my main issue. I have a week to mull over this decision. Battle Cat is definitely going to double in the aftermarket.

Unfortunately, you can’t please everyone. Just be happy that Mondo decided to re-re-release a 1/6 He-Man. I missed out on the original release of both He-Man AND Skeletor, so I’m happy that both have gotten re-released (well next year in Skelly’s case). As for Battle Cat, the price is a hard swallow, but remember that shipping in included in the price, that’s ~$50 of the total right there, at least. We know the size of the kitty, but do we know the official weight yet? Has anyone heard anything on that? Either way, prices for pretty much everything keep going up so who knows what shipping costs with be in 6 months when BC finally ships out. I’m glad I’m paying it off now rather than later.

I’m going to assume it’s for as long as Battle Cat is up for pre-order. If you are thinking about picking up He-Man, I’d probably order him before then just to be safe.
