I've been meaning to start this thread for a month, but I've never been satisfied with the photos I've taken but I decided to post these and take more photos later. I'm going to sell these heads but I still have not figured out how to price things.

These heads were painted over the last 3-4 months with Vallejo paints and Tamiya too. I really like Small Studios work and Lalla's work too.

First up is A Hot Toys trutype repainted to look more like James Mcavoy (Proffessor Xavier), then a Jason Statham, Hot Toys Maximus/ Russell Crowe and last a resculpted Qui Gon to look like Ra's Al Ghul from Batman Begins I got on Ebay ( I reculpted the huge beard though).

Next a Asian looking Hot Toys sculpt, A Spencer Wolverine head sculpt (I got this in a trade and repainted it) and last is Brendan Fraiser from the Mummy that is from the VTS set.

This last post of the day are 8 of the heads sculpted from the super-talented Tony Barton of the UK. I LOVE the expressions he puts into the heads and they have a little more life in them. All the resin heads can be ordered here for seven pounds a head (A little more than $10 each):

Anyways, his heads had some of the chest cast in the sculpt in a v shape which I sanded off and attached Hot Toys neck adapters to and used some Magic sculpt to ( a little sloppy, but it was the first time I used the stuff)

Anyways, I'm posting these because I love 1/6th stuff passionately, and I would love to do commissioned repaints and would like to see what you guys think.

Very nice paint work!
Tony Barton's head sculpts are very unique and I like his style. There is no mistaking his work.
And you painting them looks great.

Very nice choice in sculpts. Looks like your off to a really great start. Skin tones look good as well as the paint work in the eyes. Keep them coming.

You and your partner are definitely turning out some truly outstanding work. I was particularly impressed with the LotR themed paintings on your website!

Not much more I can say about these head sculpts you've painted that hasn't already been said... but I really like the way you transformed the Hot Toy's Billy Sole head into Sonny Landham... I wondered if it could be done and you proved it can. Well done indeed.

There's always room for more talented 1:6 portrait painters in this hobby. I'm sure you'll have plenty of commissions coming your way if you don't already.

Looking forward to seeing a lot more of your work!

Well, we just got done painting the another 30+ head sculpts. Most will be on Ebay here within a few hours:

Many of our head sculpts have been quite a learning experience. I'm going to post our latest repaints first (gotta impress!) and then post some of the older ones after.

We are open for commissions to repaint heads right now $50 for a limited time for standard heads and $60 -70 for more detailed heads that take several hours longer to paint.

Above are a ton of Hot Toys repaints, A___on Kutcher, Mark Wahlberg (in Shooter), Russell Crowe, Sean Connery as older James Bond from Never Say Never Again, Leonardo Dicaprio in "Blood Diamond", David Beckham and two others.

Here is the Dicaprio head again, he had a tan in the movie and bruises as you can see!

Remember when they brought Sean Connery back as Bond in the 80's competing against Roger Moore's Bond? Here he is! I traded for this sculpt, not sure what Hot Toys release this came from but pretty damn cool, right?!

Obi Wan Episode 2 - I can't stand the cross eyed paint job you see on the original, I had to do Trevor Grove's sculpt right!

I love the Batman releases by Hot Toys, wish I knew why they never released more from these movies as it would be huge! Here is a Bruce Wayne repaint, a converted Qui Gon Jinn sculpt that is now Ras Al Ghul and a Joker v.1 from the prison scene!
