In the past i red a post by Todd Mcfarlane that they had plans to make an animatronic ED-209 + ROBOCOP battle damaged with cobra assault cannon and some figures from the ROBOCOP 2 license!
Do you know, if we still can expect these figures by Mcfarlane?
In an interview with Todd,he Said that they already made the ED-209 and that he was very happy about it.
But he had some worries about the cost of this figure to produce.

Great news For Toy fans. Mcfarlane Toys might be releasing their own ED-209 figure. The question was asked on the Spawn messageboard and you can read the question and answer below or via the link.
Hopefully it will be a box set, a complete battle damaged Robocop with ED-209.
QUESTION: Will we see the ED-209 figure this year or...?
ANSWER: It is still possible. Their are quite a few employees that want it just as bad as you do. Me being one of them. So we'll keep up the good fight. /Joe

A couple of weeks ago todd said that they already made the prototype, but he also said that they are waiting for the right time to release the figure.l
i can't find that topic anymore in the Todd Mcfarlane's TODDCAST.

I think I recall that you mentioned that your company has sculpted a prototype ED-209 figure a while ago. If I’m correct, how is the figure progressing? Is there chance for a 2007-2008 release date?

It was sculpted, I believe we ran into problems trying to find a home in the retail market. As far as I know it still has life.
