How heavy is this going to be? Detolfs are strong, but this thing looks solid!

It's going to be around 10 lbs. We're using the thinnest aluminum we can while remaining strength. If we go thinner, the machining process will make the panels warp and it'd also look wrong

The diorama has been painted and assembled. We are very happy with the final prototype. If you more tweaks and it will be ready for production. Preorders start today. The price is $289. Figures not included of course.

I have a final production and design meeting at the CNC company Monday night. After that production will begin and I hope to deliver in April 2017.

If you want one, you can just send me a $100 downpayment to [email protected] and add 3% for PayPal fees. Then send me your shipping address and you''re on the list. Then pay the remaining balance ($189 plus shipping) when your kit is ready to ship sometime in April 2017.

Looks great! Didn't see in the video but does it have a ceiling? Also do you have a sense of how shipping costs might change since it seems this might be heavier?

It only has a partial plates on the left and right side assemblies. The center remains open to have maximum headroom. Shipping costs are about 25% higher than your previous shipments.

So many display options. I'd bite if budget was not so tight lately. Goatta save for the coming Tantive IV hallway project.

Thanks guys, if we can figure out the tolerances of the bent sides for the tantive entry hallway diorama it will be available next.

Overall dimensions when assembled?

15,3 inch x 15 x 11,4 inches when assembled

I'm really excited to get this. Your attention to detail is amazing. I'm not sure if I'll put it in a detolf or keep it free standing. Either way it will be appreciated!

So I have been looking for a small enough light hide in the back and to give it the red glow.
What do you guys think of these options for it?

Long Lasting Option with remote

These are only good for 8hrs:

Battery operated no remote:

Great idea! You may also need an opaque or frosted sheet of plastic / acrylic to diffuse the light. These LEDs can be blindingly bright.

Do you offer an option with the wider floor segment (for those who aren't bound by detolf dimensions) so that the circular sides form a real circle?
The detolf version looks stretched verticaly due to fixed width of the detolf.

Not yet, maybe in version 2? Right now, I am well into production on this piece
