I like the expressions of the sculpts even if they aren’t 100% there. Just something different. It’s why I use the smirk Inart head for my normal Joker.

That hair… I assume it’ll be better when futzed but damn does it look like a helmet.

I find the inart one looks best when the head is posed down, i do find the likeness is lost a little when the head is up. I feel like this fairs a little better when in that position

InArt may have Hot Toys beat by a touch but I think we're talking about an A- versus an A here. They're both quite incredible, and I don't think anyone will be able to say for sure if one is better than the other until someone has them both in-hand standing side-by-side. Probably the biggest thing the Hot Toys has going for it is they're not forcing people to buy a $1300 2-pack in order to get the rooted version.

Hot Toys doesn't mention it but I wonder if the feet and base are magnetized like InArt's.

And people were cancelling their IA for this? Lmao.... talk about waiting even longer and getting something lower quality...
It’s a sad say for sure. One should’ve been alarmed when the master of this art in 1/6 (Viper) was hired and given his own division at Queen Studios. I think HT’s a long way to go!

I’m with Spanbauer on this. I think it’s basically a great figure vs. a great figure and I can’t wait for an in hand, side by side comparison.
IA failed in plenty of areas to produce a ”perfect” 1/6 Joker so I’m not seeing anything in these pics to warrant a definitive fail or win when compared to what IA made.

Not sure if i will try for the rooted version or not. Imo hot toys has never pulled off a good rooted hair figure. Def going for the sculpted hair version most likely. I'm dreading the price though. :blissysmi

There's something that's been really throwing off the likeness here and after comparing it to INART, I see what it is.

Hot Toys completely missed the mark on the eyes. They made them way too small and beady when Heath had huge expressive eyes. INART's likeness isn't even perfect but I think they did a better job capturing it here due to them getting the eyes better than Hot Toys. Not to mention this is what? The 4th time they tried to get it right? Still came out bizarre looking.
