Does she bend at the waist?

Yes, probably the best waist movement on a hot toys figure I've seen In a long time, Babydoll puts the female predator I bought a longtime ago to shame, as far as articulation is concerned. But the Machiko figure was HTs first attempt at a female figure so I can see why. I'm glad they improved it.

I missed getting the Black Widow from IM 2 so I don't know if they used the same body as the Babydoll.

I'll be picking up the Avengers Widow though, I'm sure they'll use this body for it, or develop an even better sculpt.

I can't get any other female figures I own to articulate like this! Especially with Heels on! :lol

lol, that's not really anatomically correct range of motion in that right ankle pose there.

Poor thing would have to be put down with that kind of ankle break... :monkey1

Sorry, but that articulation makes it look like very cheap. I don't think it is such a great figure afterall.

That's only one pose you can do :lol you can do traditional standard poses I was just showing the flexability of the figure, the articulation is just as good as spidey. The ankles have great flexability!

Yep. It poses too well. I think I'm going have to sell mine as soon as it gets here. All my figures need to have a more limited posing ability. What a piece of crap.

:rotfl

Yeah, I know what you mean. I am referring to the ankle articulation to be more precise. I just don't like it, it looks too awkward. But this has already been discussed so I'll move on...:wink1:

I don't like it either, it doesn't look natural, but i think it's just a demo of the options for posing available :)

Mine is at Stansted, maybe tomorrow but likely tuesday :yess:

From all the pics this looks to be one of HT's best this year, can't wait

Considering what she did with all the flipping, rolling, jumping, spinning, crouching, etc, etc that she did in the movie during the action sequences, I think HT's did a brillant job to the articulation of the figure. The costume doesn't even prohibit the natural flow of the articulation.

Once you have it in hand, you can see how natural it looks. :wink1:

It's just funny-strange because that pose is not humanly possible, her ankle is broken. Human beings can't do that.

It's most definitely 'un'natural.

My point is that I think HT could have done much better to improve the female body articulation. And it is a shame, because in fact, it is not like there would have to develop something absolutely new. For example, and just as an idea, they could have done something similar to what Bandai has been doing for quite a long time...

I would rather have the "option" of weird extreme posing then not have it.

Just because it can't be done in real (like a lot of the movie) I would rather be able to chose an non humanly possible pose or a more realistic pose.
