yes,i am thinking about swapping the head, not so sure how exactly!

I was selling mine also but the value tanked and don't want to sell mine for $240 or less(current ebay sales) so I decided to keep it and used a Winter Soldier Cap head on it, switched the long foot pegs to short ones and it looks a lot better.

only when he made the speech (which they actually made a costume error in this scene by suddenly showing on the GA suit, the same harness with the brown shoulder straps that is on the strike suit and the AoU suit that enabled him to put his shield on his back) and when he allowed himself to be pummeled by Bucky. Plus, I have the propensity to keep my figures stock, anyway.

I never noticed that before!!!
Well done.
I should have caught that before now.

Looks good Bjjer! :clap

I know many people have circumvented the smaller stock sculpt on the GA version by simply swapping it out for a strike suit sculpt (as you did), or putting an unmasked, civvy Steve sculpt on it. While it does definitely improve the overall proportions, I've balked at doing either because of the lack of the covered ears on the strike suit sculpt and he didn't have very many unmasked scenes with the GA suit in TWS; only when he made the speech (which they actually made a costume error in this scene by suddenly showing on the GA suit, the same harness with the brown shoulder straps that is on the strike suit and the AoU suit that enabled him to put his shield on his back) and when he allowed himself to be pummeled by Bucky. kds, do you mean you are unsure what sculpt to swap it out with, or you're unsure how to take out the sculpt in general?
i am unsure which sculp to use.i was thinking about using the strike helmeted version and maybe remodel it to make it look like the GA version with covered ears

I started that very thing, but the helmet is a soft vinyl like the face sculpts. I reckon the best solution would be to cast the helmet in resin, then sand the resin copy down smooth and then cast that as the final master of the smooth version.
Seems like a lot of work for one head though, lol.
I used green stuff to sculpt the ear covers. It's a two part epoxy sculpting compound. You could use milliput or Aves, depending what's available near you.

Finally swapped the bean headed stock sculpt on this figure for TWS dual pack Steve Rogers sculpt today to see what it looked like, after opting for the longest time to keep the diminutive stock sculpt on for diversity being that it has a different facial expression.

End result: Never going back to the stock sculpt again. TWS or AoU Steve Rogers sculpts are in perfect proportion with this figure. I have a new found admiration for this figure after switching sculpts.
