The problem with the SW licence is that ANH has very basic outfits. And when you remove any "DX" label from them they have a "That's all Folks" quality to them! Han looks fine yet basic. When you apply the cost convert to Canadian funds....its not worth it.

Chewie on the other hand is not perfect, BUT his hair might have endless possibilities to each individuals customers satisfaction. Plus he is not only a figure but a piece of art!!

my final flex is slated for august 25 for the set, im guessing this will ship from SS in early september. i'll reserve final judgement when its in my hands, but so far im fine with how it looks in the pics.

Well I’m not 100% sure yet. This is an unusual figure. I don’t have and never have owned a fully haired figure before. Maybe when in hand and futz to your own satisfaction and adding his height this piece might be a stand out in anyones collection = art piece!!

Well, these guys are close but not close enough. Chewie's likeness is not there and Han looks like a caricature, as someone mentioned. He doesn't fit in, to my eyes, with Luke and Leia (looks like a completely different company made his headsculpt) and I don't like that somewhat derpy look on his face. These guys are $515 US shipped and with taxes work out to $633 CAD. Sucks to lose my $48 NRD but they're not even close to being worth that price to me. Going into Han/Chewie hibernation mode until we see ESB versions.

I think it might be straight out of the box and the futz may have been while picking it up and putting it on the stand.

This is someone else's box shot:

I still feel like I need to see Chewie in hand to see what can be made of him, he looks really bad in some shots and pretty good in others--only a couple shots out of all 50 or so look about as good as the prototype. Going to require patience when futzing, that's for sure.

Judging by the initial reactions, he does seem headed for 20% discounts--which would bring him down to $203 plus shipping. Since I already have a coupon, not sure it's worth waiting to save $30.

This one looks pretty close to one of the proto shots, and the muzzle doesn't look so bad. The slight blur helps. :)
