1/6 Hot Toys Endgame Ronin (Hawkeye) Figure

Just got the regular version in yesterday. The hs looks so awesome in hand, I wasn?t sold on it from seeing the pictures but these always look better in hand (I felt the same way with Krennic). And there are a ton of posing options, even with this version. Having the deluxe would honestly feel a little daunting haha, like I?d never have the time to put him in all the poses I wanted to. Also want to put in a good word for EG Rocket and War Machine Mk 6 which I also received yesterday. So happy I ended up getting them

If you really wanted Ronin specifically as you claim, you'd simply get him and display him as Ronin. Especially as the mask, hood-vest, and arm guards make it a distinct look compared to his regular and it came out looking really good. Even more so from someone who is still picking up antman after the sculpt debacle. Suddenly you draw the line at this sculpt you wouldnt use? Seems like an excuse for the sake of it, almost comes off a tad hypocritical. Hmmm

Not trying to be hypocritical here. Let me clarify. I wanted the Deluxe version, but my primary draw to the figure was the Renner proto headsculpt. I was amazed at how good it looked. The masked head was never gonna be the main way I displayed this figure, but I didn't mind having the option.

In terms of Ant-Man, the primary draw is the Ant-Man helmet, not the Rudd sculpt...that would have been a bonus if HT knocked it out of the park...but sadly they didn't and I'm okay with it because I was always planning on buying it for helmeted portrait.

Yep I?ve got Rocket, Ant Man and Hawkeye the same day. Got War Machine from HK, otherwise it?d be a foursome on my porch! Can?t wait for Widow now!

Nah, unfortunately the eyes are preventing me from pulling the trigger...just doesn't look right to me.

That is the point I always think about and why in-hand I'm almost always blown away by the sculpts.

Very much agreed! Even when I speculate them up close, they still mesmerize me.

Yeah. If there’s a problem with the sculpt I reckon they have de-aged him a bit, and the eyes have a lot less crows feet wrinkles than he has in real life.
Like you see in the images with the shades, it’s spot on for Renner.
I have done this in the past for other figures that seem to lose a bit from the proto to the final, and it’s usually the eyes or the hair. In this case, if you don’t see the resemblance it is the eyes.
But I can state now that this headsculpt is the best Renner so far. In my opinion, of course.
I have to admit that before I received these headsculpts, I was worried that the head would suffer the same fate as the Batfleck heads and be over scaled, but that’s not the case. They are far smaller than the Affleck heads, and will fit right in with the previous Avengers scale.

SSC assigned my last payment into August. So it's going to be a month more for me to get mine. *sigh*

You might be able to get it sooner if you do "pay it now" or something like that on your order page. You fell victim to just missing the cutoff as my fullpay is slated to ship on the 29th. Bummer that FlexPay bumps all the way back a full month in this case, but it probably works best for those trying to keep their payment timing consistent month to month. I'm super excited to get this guy and Widow together in-hand.

Yep, it's totally the eyes...the photos jmann posted, I think the first one looks the best and then all the other ones the likeness is zapped...my opinion of course.

Yup he is looking good, now if only I can find someone to sell me some arrow shafts with the black fletching (Civil war, Avengers1) from his prior releases lol. Its hot toys only real accuracy error, that and the quiver missing that strap separation in the middle of the opening.





Its actually pretty crazy how hard the A1 or Civil War arrow shafts are hard to find. All sold out on ebay or 1/6th sites. In fact most Hawkeye accessories for sale are always from the AoU version.

Aren't all the arrows black from previous releases?
Only the fletching changes if i remember correctly. The shafts are always black.
And yeah, i always buy up stacks of those arrows when they are parted. It's handy to have 1/6 arrows.
I recently made a custom quiver for a Hawkeye figure i am putting together, and it's always great to have parts on hand.
