This pic is of the original HT ESB Fett which i modified a few years ago -- i regretted selling it . I was able to pick up the 40th Anniversary so will be interested to see if there were any updates to the figure . If anyone is looking for a ESB FETT Pop Culture Australia has a few in stock . Be quick they wont last long !

Got the new ESB Boba today in the mail. -- Got to say Im not in love with it the way I was 3 years ago when the first version came out . Im not sure what it is.
Also on the crotch i noticed a paint lump which looks like a crotch pimple . This wasnt on the first verison . The washes on the guantletts looks cheap I could do better myself. -- I will sleep on it but yeah the wow factor is just umm not there. Mandalorian TV Show killed it . I liked it better when we didnt know much about Boba . Plus i think Ive outgrown Hot Toys , i just think they are overpriced dolls , my mind cant seem to love them as much as I did back in 2011 . Here is a pic of the crotch pimple .

Looks good! What mods did you do? It looks like maybe a different body? Or at least trimmed/removed the fat suit? And did you dye the flightsuit? It looks a little more blue in your photo.

Thanks so Much !! - yep it was modded but kep the original body - i didnt trim the body etc just relclothed it . I didnt alter the fat suit . But died the flight suit china blue , and weathered it myself. I also died the cape darker to match the screen version . I also added Foam the pockets as they are full on screen but empty on the Hot Toys . Here is another pic

Once again, looks really good! What did you mean by, "just relclothed it"? Did you tailor the flightsuit? I know some people have done that. I feel the #1 mod that makes Fett look more movie accurate is slimming him down. Bulloch was super thin in ESB. Yours has that look. And also the correct hue of blue on the flightsuit(in my opinion). So I was either going to switch the body, or remove the fat suit, to get that leaner look, but that seems unnecessary based on what you did (so any more details on how you thinned him out would be appreciated!) Also, what dye did you use on the cape? (I already have the China Blue for the flightsuit) Thanks for your help!

i didnt remove the fat suit as the armour was loose fitting once taken off , I re-clothed it after i died the suit , and repositioned the girth belt so it hung over the crotch and repositioned he belt there should be a gap of the flight suit showing between the vest and the belt and will look more in proportion. The dye used on the cape was Tan Brown , however on first rinse it was a bit dark so i rinsed again with hot water until i got the shade right . The China Blue is good because if comes out too blue just rinse it away with hot water . Make sure its mixed properly or you will get dark speckles of dye on the suit.

Just got 40th Boba in today. Love the box! I typically couldn’t care less about packaging but if I had a ton of display room it would be my first ever box display.

Now to crack it open.

I guess I was fortunate find it in stock back in March. Glad to see they're still offering him and probably won't be discontinued any time soon.

Yup it’s expensive for a block of plastic but it sure makes for an incredible display.

I plan on getting the Carbo Han at some point. After reading what their doing to TW and some other smaller, Asian retailers I feel dirty even considering a SS product anymore though.

How can I own what's going to feel like fifteen Fetts - and no Han in carbonite?! The struggle is real.

Yet there's literally 500 ways I'd rather spend $200+ in this hobby. Argh.

Out of the two Carbonite dio they've produced so far, I really like the version with Han hanging on the wall of Jabba's palace. It seems to display better with figures like Boba and the other bounty hunters.

Of course this current version can be posed with Han in horizontal escort mode. It comes with an extra suspension bar to create the hovering action. I have it displayed in vertical trophy mode currently. Overall it's not perfect without some slight mods, but it get the job done.
