They must have made this so the unlit hilt has an extra piece to be accurately thin. They need to make Luke's ROTJ saber like this now.

The fact that they even need to do that is ridiculous. I have a custom ROTJ Luke saber with an accurately thin neck and it still has all of the light up function etc. If some guy can make one out of his garage and sell it for around the same price as a Force FX, Hasbro can make one easily.
