Maps are up; for LE and map pass owners, once at the main menu, click on marketplace and it'll take you right there

LOL - prob; well, according to forum members at Waypoint, when MS 'fixed' the issue, they inadvertently goofed, so anyone could download the map packs, regardless if they had paid for it or not....

I do want to play the larger 8 v 8 mode on them, though? They are all pretty big maps

Too close to what's already been done and what's free with the game.
Not very imaginative settings given where the game takes place.
Yeah they need some really big maps with sprawling vistas.
Epic came out with some great maps for Gears 3. These new ones are pretty vanilla.
They should also issue some classic maps.

Maps are ok, I just hate some of the game types for the new maps. Give me slayer, big team, and flag once in awhile. Other types are meh!

I'm liking em so far, played some flag and extraction and digging it. Looks like they're mainly meant for objective games?

Edit: won a few flag games, extraction and king of the hill glad to see hill in rotation was a frantic game - the medals are really well thought out too.

I haven't seen em before Matt, they're brand new. I think they might bring back one or two classic maps in future packs.
