Every single Godzilla Film had a different suit.

The Core of MOST collectors of Godzilla collect VINYL figures --
generally vinyl -- as staues are too costly esp if you only have a few favorite versions...
Vinyl also holds detail better and will not break as easily considering the number of spines

Again each godzilla has a very specific look down to the texture and even individual details
and are as individual as one can get considering how familiar collectors are with their favorite versions...

The posture, textures, shapes and number of spines are notrandom and sculpterly - theyare very specific in shape and texture...to each individual godzilla

the eyes for certain Godzillas hav a very specific look, depth, and color - position in some cases... they are specific in the same way Vader varies from the Sequel to the prequel -- it is the collectors who will buys it for they attention to these details and will appreciate it.

highly detailed in most cases -- (though there's a whole niche of retrostyle toys in vinyl as well - in the bullmark and popy mode of nostalgic design - interfaces with art vinyls and urban type toys)

Sideshow needs to make these in a screen-accurate depiction (there are many stylized depictions as it is)- one for each movie in a large scale vinyl like the new x-plus figures out of Japan (those are 10 in in height)...

from the serious evil-looking White eyed GMK Godzilla - to the funny look of the late 1960's. Every single godzilla movie til 2005 has had a drastically different design but remains distinctly Godzilla...

There has ALWAYS been a niche - a RABID niche market who collects godzilla - and there have always been toys manufactured by multiple companies to this day who continue to pump out new and different depictions of all versions of Godzilla ever to be shown on the big screen...
1954,1955 vs Anguirasu (FireMonster),1962 Vs King Kong,1964 vs Mothra,1965 vs King Ghidorah,1968,1971,1974,1975,1984,1989,1991,1992,1993,1994,1995 Burning Godzilla,1999 Millenium,2000 vs Megaguirasu,2001 GMK,2002 Kiriyu,2003 Final Wars

I missed a bunch - but Godzilla alone would be a feat...

I'm one of these rabid collectors - we also tend to collect Dino stuff and or Robots or Star Wars depending on which end of the spectrum we discovered Godzilla

Check out this cool little site

for the various Godzilla toys that've already hit the market...and continuos to...

Godzilla collectors easily drop $75- $100 for a typical Japanese figure and $200-$300 is common for something 15" - 2feet tall... - of course we are talking about Japanese exclusive toys which are not sold in the US
