Bayonetta 1:7 PVC Figure - Phat! Company

A very nice little figure. Like most Japanese things it's pvc and the base is a bit lame plastic but this one turned out nice with the butterfly and stain glass look. The pose and details on the figures are really nice as well, the hair is lovely, the guns are nice, the texture on the clothes is very well done.
I'm happy with it.

Vampirella Tooned-Up Statue 209/750 - Electric Tiki

This is a very cute statue. I'm not familiar with Vampirella but I like Eletric Tiki's cartoon style pieces and this one was fun so I got it. The execution is solid, the costume is nice with the gold where it counts, the face is cute, the bat is cute as well and the base is very nice with an eerie possessed woods feel. I dig how she looks playful but with a mean 'imma get you' look in her eyes. Also dat culo!

JSC Mary Jane 1:5 Comiquette 764/6000 - Sideshow

Yowzah!!! She's a stunner! Love this piece, great pose, her face is stunning, love the little magazine details, the gap between the spidey costume and her back arch. The only defect I have is that some of the webbing on her shoulders is kind of grey, like some some glue residue is laid on top of the black, not sure. It's a bit annoying but not overly noticeable and the piece otherwise is gorgeous so I'll survive.

Oh Wow Drak

The first two were awesome and you gave me a trip down memory lane with Bayonetta but that MJ just blew my mind!! Amazing! Wish I could afford that piece I really really like it. SS nailed that sculpt and paint job something fierce.

Alright *****es I should be back! Though not as frequent.

I've finally migrated all my pics from imageshack to flickr and I've also finally figured out how to direct link to my images which was a pain!

Thor Strike Down 1:6 Statue 1089/1500 - Bowen Designs

This is a fun statue. I was debating between this on and the Action Thor which I missed out on at first and was getting expensive but this one reminded me of the classic Silver Age stories with Dr. Blake.
The piece is very nice with the cape flowing up, the lightning shard... it's all very well made. The only downside (literally) is how Thor is looking down so if you display it below eye level you don't see his face but if you display it above eye level you miss out on the lightning strike details. I think this one is best at eye level or very slightly below.
After I recently got a few pieces that really didn't do much for me, the kind where once you open it you think to yourself "why did I order this??" it's nice to have a statue that is fun!

Herman Munster Black and White Edition Maquette 32/313 - Tweeterhead

This is going to be a tales of 2 reviews.
Recently I've run out of space for my collection and with several POs coming (dreading the Gladiator Hulk...) I'm starting to be much more critical about what I want to keep to the point that I'm debating unloading almost all my LotR statues. In the past few weeks I received a few statues that when I opened than I really ended up not caring for and in hindsight I should not have ordered them. I'm talking about Tweeterhead's Elvira, the Tooned Up Vampirella, Bayonetta and now this piece.
Now don't get me wrong all these pieces are very nice. This one is well sculpted, a great likeness to the character... top notch really. But the pieces I just mentioned I have no attachment to. I've never read Vampirella, I've never watched Elvira or Munsters and so on. So, indeed, why did I bother ordering it? Call it hype, call it expectation or hope that I would like it, call it not wanting to miss out and regret...
The bottom line is that I'm going to be much more selective on my choices from now on but like I mentioned earlier if you are a fan of the series his is a very nice piece.

Batman EX 1:4 PF 170/2000- Sideshow

Man this took a while!! Almost 2 years to arrive and then another few weeks to post pics. You could think that after all this wait, all those pics, all the shenanigans on the forums.. the hype would have died, the effect would be lessened.... HELL NO! It's the freaking Batman!!
He's monstrous, heavy, has amazing presence, great base, great mixed fabric, the freaking belt! The cape is HUGE and heavy! Hell I couldn't carry it up the stairs, I had to carry the base and body first and then the cape and head!
The pose is great, the EX hand is much more visible than I would have thought and the 2 head are great. They are very different and allow for very different displays. For me Canale's works best around eye level but I prefer Bergholtz's personally since I'm displaying him about a foot over my head.
There's lots that could be said and at the same time nothing needs to be said. Enjoy the pics.

Hi folks!! It's been a while.
Just thought I'd share a pic I took today after finally putting shelves in my garage.

Also I'm updating my first post with pics of my collection (way overdue also)
