How do you all display your alternate heads? I have many figures that have alternate head sculpts, but just resting them on the base (sometimes to wobble over) is not very dignified. Does anyone have any suggestions where to get a good little stand for alternate portraits?

I don't. But if only Sideshow could make some kind like tackle box or something. With the compartments all padded then that would be excellent instead of having to go dig them out of the box

I saw in a Cotswald catalog one time a stand designed for that. I'd like to have stands for alternate portraits as well. I think it would be good if they could display alternate clothing, like a jacket too. Sideshow uses a mannequin in some of their shots for this kind of thing - they should market that.

Rare earth magnets and a steel plate. Stick magnet into spare neck sockets and then attach the heads to the sockets. Any number of them can be placed on a metal plate or any metal object/box.

I generally use squared hardwood for alternate headsculpt display.
I cut a length of hardwood to size, and drill a hole for a length of clear acrylic rod. I use a little bit of blu tack or a cast ball joint to attach the headsculpt to the rod.
It's a basic and elegant way to have a spare head off to one side of a display.
Of course, i also have a large box with dividers for all my spare heads i intend to use for customs.

In the interest thread, one if the members has posted some stands he makes and offering them, worth a look kind of like a chess piece
