Hey, speak of the Devil. The Joker I ordered got here today! For a simple head swap and slight repaint, he is an AWESOME figure. Very scary too

I don't think the scarring is entirely accurate as he looks kinda like Freddy Krueger instead of having a bad rash like we've seen in the trailers, but I still like it. And perhaps he gets worse later in the game and this is the result? Joker was messed up before, but he's even more messed up now.

Not sure if this was a wise figure to make a NYCC exclusive though. I can't imagine the Joker not having a big role in the game, or at least a very memorable one. Perhaps a more accurately done head will be done in a regular wave. I can see this being in high demand. I highly suggest snagging one off of ebay now while you can for a reasonable price. From the description, he's only going to come with a base so you aren't really missing out on anything accesssory wise on ebay.

PS I don't think there is going to be a 4th figure in wave 1 now. I think they would have at least solicited it as a mystery figure in the set if there was another. With sites taking pre-orders already it would be a major pain for them to have to offer/add another figure to everyone who has already ordered.

Are you not planning on getting the exclusive from NYCC at all then now Buttmunch?
I'd still definitely want him even though I have a loose eBay one on the way.
If anyone's going to NYCC and fancies getting a second one for me I'd be very gratefull! Otherwise I guess it's scalper prices for me

Not sure yet. If it doesn't differ at all, probably not. And the irony of ironies is that I'll actually be in NYC during NYCC. Totally by chance. But if its anything like SDCC, it wouldn't even be worth popping in for an hour or two.

Got my loose NYCC Joker in the post today - he's actualy really cool in-hand, the face sculpt is really detailed and it's a great likeness! Perhaps the paintwork is a little OTT on the scars/boils (or whatever they are) making them look more gruesome than we've seen in pictures so far, but then for all we know this could be a later stage of Joker's illness in the game.

Well, I suppose this comes as no suprise really, but DC Direct have cancelled the December orders for the Arkham City series 1 figures (as well as a tonne of other stuff - I can't help but feel this is to do with the new 52 grrrrrrrr!)
Typical.
I suppose the good news is that they'll be re-solicited at a later date, so we should eventualy get them, but it still annoys the hell out of me - especially know not knowing when we're going to get them, could be late next year for all we know!

The sad thing also is that this has been one of DCD's best selling lines!! They had to rush out series 1 again cos they sold out so freakin' fast! And with the new game just about here surely this line should have the same priority as any new 52 stuff.
Oh well, no point getting too annoyed over it I suppose...

Starting in the November Previews catalogue, DC Direct will be resoliciting several months worth of items, adapting a shorter ordering window of just four months – the same ordering window as most of DC’s hardcovers!

I didn't even notice at the show that his card says "Arkham City" but I really think it's just a branding thing. I hope. That last boss fight was indeed the only disappointment in the game.

But I'll probably still buy him. I heart these games big time...such a treat for a BTAS fan and not-a-huge-Nolan-Batman fan.

I was a little confused- they removed Hush and Unmasked Batman (who I know I've seen pics of). They were removed by Dax Ginn from Rocksteady. I offered to hold them for him but he declined.
