civil war explaination needed

Awesome, thanks. I don't read the regular Marvel lines much, I mostly read the Ultimate ones. But since the Ultimates haven't had a TPB in a year I started reading the New Avengers, which leads me to Civil War and I really want to get the full flavor of it. So your level of X reading is about equal (a bit higher it seems) than mine so I doubt I'll feel lost. I just didn't know since it seems to focus on the X-Men and the 198 and O*N*E* which I know nothing about.

If you're reading it only to enhance Civil War . . then don't bother . . .

If you got it cheap and just want to read it that's cool . . . It is kind of a stand alone story . . . it just takes place during the Superhero’s CW . . .

I have been reading the New Avengers HC collections also and have liked them . . .

Also, I can't recommend the Bendis Daredevil run highly enough

. . . They are collected in 6 oversize HC collections and are just really great reads . . . if you like dark and gritty . . .
