But you do enough to be in a Charlie Sheen thread or are you just bored and looking for something to do? Again you don't set the standard the masses do, unfortunately. Personally I agree with you man, none of this matters at all, its one man's choice on how he wants to live.
But again if a million people are talking about something, it doesn't matter if it's relevant to you, its important. He has been in movies alot of people seen, nominated for awards, famous dad, his own action figure many people here own, he has lots of money and lots of pull.
I mean by your same token right, you could say Stephen Colbert is not important in terms of if he died right now, your right, the earth would go on, but he has enough pull from his fans to get a bridge in Denmark or part of the International Space Station named after him which makes him important. What's happening in Libya has zero effect on my life as you say, but it's still important to others.
What is important to other people--particularly those who care about this ass--matters zilch in the light of what I care about. It doesn't matter if there are a zillion of them: I don't care, which makes it unimportant.
Then why bother voicing your opinion on anything or watching TV or Movies or asking someone how their day was?
But ultimately your right and wrong, what matters to you as I said, is that you can sleep at night so thats the right outlook. At the same time I could say I don't care about oxygen, that doesn't make it not important. I can't just stop breathing. His importance simply doesn't impact you directly the same way Muammar Gaddafi's or mine doesn't. And if thats the case, why not spend time in a thread you do care about?
