The other thing I notice is the cheeks are not as puffy......

Any changes to the sculpt form what I can see so far could be attributed to lighting, angle, changes in paint apps, or slight casting deformation.

Also possible, although I think it's more than that.

It possible these days sculptors know the molding process will degrade the sculpt, so they over sculpt in an effort to make the final sculpt less dramatic. In other words they sculpt knowing the softness will occur.

I would definitely agree with that, I've seen some paint applications that look pretty harsh in the prototype stage, and then balance out perfectly in production.

Looks a little better maybe but very close to the prototype which I was fine with anyway. Obviously a lot of detail being lost in those cell phone pics...hopefully no one panics and cancels their order because of that.

I think it looks great personally; made some changes for the better which to me improved the likeness.

Still can't wait for panic mode though when the first official photos of the final products release and chaos ensues.
