Looks very nice there...and a definite step up from the Goldfinger version.

Sideshow Bond looks like a GI Joe now, but at the time, I thought it was the coolest figure ever! I'm keeping my preorder of the new one.

Those old SS figures were the first to pull me into the hobbie. I still have the beautiful movie poster boxes on display.

My figures arrived - I can’t believe how quickly BCS turns stuff around - ordered at midnight Tuesday CST and they showed up this morning. At least props to them whereas SS/HT takes a week+…

I like him. Is he perfect? Nah. But overall he’s a nice figure. The good: headsculpt, accessories. I don’t mind the fabric for the suit tbh. I think flash/perspective in photos is important here, so take these for what they’re worth. The bad: body is cheap, joints are loose. I sort of care for the price, but it is what it is. I didn’t really even futz with him except on the cuffs. Could he be better? Well sure. But I’m generally pleased and I am happy I grabbed him. I’ll take some Dr. No pics later. Anyways, I’d give him a 7.8/10.

The people that bought Dr. No did yours come with the tarantula? Is the tarantula supposed to be in the compartment beside the cigarette in the packaging?

As with the GF Connery from BCS the sculpt is on point, the paint app could be better, the body is only good for the bin, the tailoring looks cheap and ill fitting, the accessories are nicely done.

Basically what they got right with the GF Bond they got right with the Dr No Bond and what they got wrong with the GF Bond they got wrong with the Dr No Bond.

Tarantula should be inside the "cage" that comes with the Dr No figure. Hold it up to the light.

BTW, someone asked earlier if this current material is what was on the proto, and with Bond it certainly was not. He had a much better shirt collar too...

He's supposed to come with the spider cage, the statue, the cigarette holder and a bottle of champagne (blue) and a 2nd set of hands.

Ok thanks for the response I was just making sure i wasn't missing anything. I couldn't see the tarantula in the cage so i thought maybe he was supposed to be in that compartment beside the cigarette. But i am missing the socks on James Bond but that's no big deal.

Some of their stuff has been good! Granted Connery looks dreadful but a lot of their Who figures are great and getting better.

It’s a shame China is about to lockdown again. It’ll probably be four years before we get any of the (fairly) new preorders let’s face it.

What I loved about the Sideshow figures were their stunning boxes. Beautiful poster art. I still think their statues
